Disclaimer... I do not own Percy Jackson or Harry Potter. They belong to Rick Riordan and J.K. Rowling. On with the Story...

"Considering the amount of scolding you got in the last few days, this is a silver lining. Congratulations Mr. Potter." Percy nodded approvingly.

"Wow Mr. Jackson, you made me feel embarrassed and appraised with the same line." Harry replied.

"It's a talent." Percy saluted.

"A Seeker? But first years are never brought into the team." Ron frowned.

"Clearly they made an exception." Hermione said.

"What if I screw it up?" Harry asked with a clear doubt in his voice.

"You won't. It's in your blood." Hermione said. Minutes later they were in the trophy room, looking at a shield with the name of James Potter as Seeker."

It was a weekend and Harry and Ron were relaxing in the Common Room. That's when they saw Percy coming down the stairs and heading for the portrait hole.

"Hey Percy, where are you going?" Harry sat straighter.

"Work, I'll be back before curfew." Percy sped along. He kept walking out the gates between the taller students and darted sideways in the direction of the forest, avoiding Hagrid's hut at the same time. He kept walking till he was at the bank of the Black Lake.

"Um hello? Is there a Giant Squid here?" ercy called to the surface of the lake.

No response.

"Of course, what was I thinking?" Percy grumbled as he kicked a stray stone in the water. But instead of sinking, the stone was thrown back to the ground.

"It's true!" Percy jumped in ecstasy. And that's when a tentacle wrapped around him and pulled him under. His last thought was to take a deep breath before plunging in the cold and dark water with his eyes closed shut.

Curiosity overcame him and he opened his eyes. The lake water did not seem to sting his eyes. He was still being pulled under and so he expected the surrounding to start getting darker. The surrounding did get darker till it was pitch black, but then the most fascinating thing happened. Percy saw the deep underwater plants and fishes to be emitting their own light and making them seem as stars in the night sky. The pressure of lungs increased and he gasped aloud. But instead of water, air filled his lungs.

"I can breathe underwater." Percy said and then gasped again.

"I can speak underwater."

"The Lord has come. The Lord has finally come." The fishes around him spoke in his mind, making him chuckle. This was too good to be true. Finally his feet touched solid ground and the tentacle retracted into a dark cave in front of him.

"Hello. I am..." Percy began.

"...Lord Perseus, I know. We talked about a week ago while you were being transported in boats to the castle." A deep voice relayed in his mind.

"I am talking to a Giant Squid," Percy jittered in excitement, "What is your name?"

"Marvin," the Squid said. Then he added, "Sr."

"Senior?" Percy asked and then saw a much smaller squid, half the size of Percy himself, swim up to him. He was royal blue in colour and the straps around his body seemed to be glowing a much lighter blue.

"This is my son, Marvin Jr." Marvin sr. said.

"It's him! It's him! Lord Perseus." Marvin Jr. swam around Percy.

"Please call me Percy. I don't see the point of being called a Lord." Percy said.

"I see. You do not know." Marvin Sr. hummed.

"Don't know what?" Percy looked from Marvin Jr. to the cave opening.

"How many creatures can you talk to?" Marvin Sr. asked instead.

"Well um, fishes, and then dolphin, then there was shark, and now you." Percy ticked off the list in his mind.

"All sea creatures know you. And the horses too. You can hear them too." Marvin Sr. said.

"Horses?" Percy cocked his head in confusion.

"It's getting late. You should head back Lord. I'll notify my friend that one of your kind is here." Marvin Sr. said.

"Friend? Kind?" Percy was not getting any answers.

"Till then." Marvin Sr. wrapped the tentacle around him and brought him out the lake and on the bank of the Lake, completely dry. But Percy was too confused to notice that, trying his level best to decipher the meaning of the conversation.

He decided to keep this all to himself until he could realise what was going on.

I brought the Dam Squid. I had included this part because I was going to make Percy come to the Lake many times because well, it is the lake. Next chapter will deal with the, you guessed right, the troll. Till then.

Raven.
