Chapter 2

Lilly POV

An hour later we arrived at a building. Niall went to the bottom of the building which is the garage to park his car. 

"Is this where you live?" I asked him 

"Yeah. I live in an apartment" he said and I nodded

He parked his bag and then helped with my bags. We got the bags and went inside the apartment. We went to the lobby and a man came over to us. 

"Hello Niall. Should I bring these bags to your room?" the man asked 

"Yes Roman and Roman this is my adopted daughter Lilly and Lilly this is Roman" Niall said as he introduced me to Roman 

"Hello Roman" I said shyly

"Hi Lilly" he said 

"Roman does Lilly need an ID since she will be living with me?" Niall asked Roman 

"Yes she does. How about you guys settled and then after you can come down to make an ID for Lilly" Roman said 

"Alright thank you Roman" Niall said 

Niall took my hand we both headed to the elevator. 

"Niall?" I asked as he pressed the elevator button

"Yes Lilly" he said 

"Why were the girls in the orphanage screaming their heads off while they saw you?" I asked him 

The elevator dinged and Niall and I went inside. 

"Oh you don't know who I am?" Niall asked 

"Am I supposed to?" I asked 

"No not really but I used to be in a boyband called One Direction for ten years. But 5 years ago we broke up because of hectic our schedule was and we wanted a break." he stopped because the elevator dinged again and we got out "so after we broke up each of us started to make music our own and then we all kind of got successful from our own music" Niall said 

"Oh that's why they were screaming. Where you guys famous while you're in the band?" I asked as Niall opened the door to his apartment

"Yeah we were pretty big but the fans were sad that we were talking a break" he said 

"How many members were there?" I asked

"5. Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, and you're handsome and fabulous new dad Niall Horan" he said the last part as announcer's voice and I giggled 

"Are you guys friends?" I asked him 

"Yes but I haven't talked to Zayn in a while because while we were in the band he decided he wanted to take a break from us and wanted to go on his solo career" Niall said

"Oh okay" I said 

"I can't believe that I am saying this but we could watch my audition tapes where the band started like from the X Factor show. Have you heard of that?" Niall asked

"Yeah" I said 

"Well after I give an apartment tour we could watch the videos" he said 

"Okay" I said 

And with that Niall gave me an apartment tour. Niall showed me where the living room and kitchen area were which there were connected to each other. Niall put his sunglasses and keys on the kitchen counter and showed me the rest of the house. In his living room, he had a long sofa with a bunch of cushions. He also had guitar and piano in the living room. The next thing he showed me was his room. His room was clean for a boy. He had his bed against the wall with 2 nightstands beside him. He also has a plasma tv in his room and a coffee table underneath it. He has a closet with his clothes in it. He had a desk too with lots of platinum/gold records above it. I saw one that caught my which said Midnight Memories platinum record.
