Chapter 9

Niall POV

I woke up in the middle of the night with someone shaking me. I opened my eyes to see it's Lilly crying. 

"Lilly what happened?" I asked and sat up immediately 

"I'm sorry" she said and was looking at the floor

I looked at what she was looking at and saw that she threw up. 

"Did you threw up baby?" I asked her

"Yeah" she cried

"Come here. It's okay" I said 

I gave her one of my famous Horan hugs and whispered good things to her. 

"You're going to be okay. Sit here and let me clean this and get you some medicine. In the morning we should go to the doctor to check this out" I said to her

"Okay and I am sorry again" she said 

"It's okay princess. We all get sick sometimes" I said 

She nodded and sat down on the bed while I cleaned up her throw up. Once I cleaned that I went downstairs to get some honey because I heard honey sometimes helps with sickness. I find a spoon in the drawers then I took the honey and spoon upstairs. I went to my room to see Lilly is laying on my bed. 

"Hey princess. I know this will taste bad but you have to take it to make your tummy feel better" I said

"I don't want to take that" she said and covered her mouth

"I know you don't but you have. Do it for me?" I asked 

"Fine" she said 

She took the spoon from my hand and took a sip of the honey and then made a disgusting face after. 

"That taste so bad" she said 

"I know but it supposed to be good for you" I said 

"I know but it's not good" she said 

"Alright little monkey. Let's go back to bed" I said 

I put the honey and the spoon on the nightstand and then looked at the time to see it's 5 in the morning. I made a mental note to make her an appointment when I wake up. 

"I'm not a monkey" she said as she laid down on the bed and I laid down beside her

"Yes you are. You're my little monkey" I said and kissed her face

"Dad stop it" she laughed and she started to cough so I stopped

"You okay?" I asked

"Yep" she said 

"Alright. Let's go to sleep" I said 

She put her head on my chest and wrapped my arms around her. 

"I love you princess" I said 

"I love you too daddy" she said 

I smiled and kissed her forehead. I rubbed her arm up and down and she went to sleep.

Lilly POV

"Wake up princess" I heard dad said 

I woke up this morning has like yesterday. My stomach is hurting and my throat is on fire. It hurts so much and I don't know why. I opened my eyes to see dad is sitting on the bed and trying to wake me up. 

"How are you feeling princess?" dad asked me 

"I still feel sick" I said 

"Does your tummy hurt?" he asked if I was 5 years old
