On the 15th of March Korea local time, BTS and Diana attended the GRAMMYs through virtual meetings with other artists that attended the GRAMMYs. BTS was nominated for The Best Pop Duo/Group Performance while Diana has nominated for The Best Pop Vocal Performance.
Neither one of them win anything during the award that made their fans furious. However, the artists seem to be calm and told their fans that it was okay. Diana and BTS are both in the same room when their nominations were announced.
BTS was there when Diana's nomination was announced and turned out to be unexpected even with over 100 million viewers for 24 hours and songs were streamed more than a billion times on both Spotify and iTunes all over 67 countries. Diana didn't hide her disappointment but quickly recovered with the support of her friends, BTS.

When the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance was announced, Diana's reaction was priceless. She was sitting next to Jin and when the winner was announced, Diana seems to be not accepting the fact that Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande win the category. She was clearly not happy with the result.
When the winner was announced, the boys seem to be disappointed but their leader, RM quickly covered it together with fellow member, Suga. Diana and Taehyung stayed still while the other members were comforting each other.
Diana and Taehyung were staring still on the screen and what fans more triggered was when Diana said something. It wasn't in the caption. The staff didn't put them in the caption but fans could hear what Diana said clearly in Korean which was translated to English later.
She said, "Impossible." There was no satisfied or relieve expression on her face. She then turned to Taehyung and patted his shoulder. Taehyung was still sitting statically. Not moving an inch. Diana then went to the other members to comfort them and congratulate them for their nomination although they didn't win.
Last night, UK Entertainment uploaded a video of an interview with Diana after the GRAMMY award ended. When the interviewer asked her about the nominations and the winners for this year's GRAMMY, Diana did not hesitate to give a sarcastic chuckle.
Diana then said, "I don't have any comment about it." Fans can clearly see how upset and mad Diana was with the Recording Academy. Again, the interview tried to ask Diana again about what she feels when BTS did not win their nomination. This time, Diana gave in and speak.
She chuckled sarcastically and said, "This year's GRAMMY was unexpected." She commented. That sentence had hinted the viewers that she was upset with the award show. She continued, "Honestly, I wished The Weeknd has a nomination but he didn't have one. There are bunch of other artists who deserve to be nominated and win. But they did not. I'm . . . I'm disappointed."
She plastered an unpleasant smile on her lips when she admitted that she was disappointed. The interview asked her again why she felt disappointed with the Recording Academy.

Diana was seen glancing behind the camera as if she was asking help from the staff but it seems like she receives green light to continue what she wants to say because she straight away opened up about what she feels.
She continued, "I didn't really mind about my nominations. I think that last year's winning has give a lot of pleasure and happiness. But I really wished that the judges really be fair to all artists. Not only Western on Latin or Spanish. But also, to Korean artists, Asian artists to be specific."
She added, "I listen to a lot of Asian artists' music and all of them are good. When I read the comments after the winners were announced, most fans were not happy with the result. But I respect the decision of the judges and I just hope that there will be no race or skin color issue here."
"Music is supposed to unite humans, people from other countries despite the languages. I really hope that this won't happen again neMAKEme. I really hope so." She said, ending her comment on the GRAMMY nominations and winners.
