My name is Himawari, I'm an eighteen year old girl who loves the summer. I live with my father Keanu. It's just me and him though, my mother died a long time ago right after she gave birth to me. My father told me that she had a lot of complications when she had me, they got so bad that she died. I wish I could have met her, I bet she was the most kind and caring woman anyone had ever met. My father would tell me about how amazing she was, and of course about how stunning she was.
My mother wasn't like any other normal person, she was very special. She came from a place called the village of Starfsfólk. It was a place where everyone there had a special staff of their own. Each one was different and they could control different things with them, like the seasons, holidays, the weather, the sun, moon, and so much more. My mother had the staff that could control summer, she was able to control when it started and when it ended. The village of Starfsfólk sounded really unique to me, but my father told me that it was burned down and destroyed, some of the people died and their staffs were taken, but my mother was lucky enough to escape with her life, along with some other people that lived there. It's a sad story but it's one that everyone should know, the world I live in now is so dull anyways, it could use some exciting stories.
I however love reading about all sorts of true stories like the one about the village of Starfsfólk, it's kind of my thing. My favorite story is a legend, it's about Pureblood vampires. Legend says that all of the Pureblood vampires were killed and none had survived the brutal killing. Pureblood vampires are vampires of the purest blood, they are the strongest, fastest, smartest and most respected type of vampire. Legend says that when you are close to a pureblood you will be able to feel it's power and their presence. Even though the legend says all Pureblood vampires were killed, there are rumors that another exists. The last living pureblood. Although they are just rumors, I believe that they are true, and I want to meet the last pureblood. It would be the greatest day of my life if I could meet one.
But I'm unfortunately stuck here in this boring city where no one cares about those types of legends and stories. If only I could show everyone that they really are true....
