High Expectations

¦Zora's Domain entrance

It took you approximately two days to get here, it was necessary to camp on the middle of the field even if you weren't used to it but at least you were able to get a bed the next day on a stable during the trip.
But the hardest part was going through the trail to get into the Domain, it was raining and the path was slippery and of course you fell into the river in several occasions- But even so you were able to get there without breaking any of your bones.

When you arrived you decided to go directly with King Dorephan to ask for a permission and after he gives you it you're finally going to get a good deserved rest in one of these famous water beds.
You wanted to be formal and asked one of the Zora guards if the King would be available for listening to your petition.

-Zora Guard: "A.. Forge..? Strange request if I'm honest champ but I'm sure the King would like to hear your idea."

-(Y/N): "Ah! Thanks! I'll make sure to talk to him as quickly as possible."

-Zora Guard: "No need, take your time and come in."

You noded and thanked the guard again, you were feeling comfortable already being here and most of the Zoras seemed so nice and welcoming already, you headed upstairs and.. Got shocked by how massive King Dorephan is on his throne.

-K.D.: "A Forge...?"

-(Y/N): "That's what I had in mind your magesty! I can do my best to make the best spears for your soldiers and fix them with no problem! All I would nee-"

-K.D.: "Hold on.. "

You were interrupted by the King out of the sudden.

-K.D.: "I see your determination and I appreciate your motivation... But I would have to deny your request.
It's a tradition of us to make, fix and use our own weapons in combat,we support each other whenever we need it and of course we do the same with outsiders, I can see how determinated you are but we really don't need any right now, my most sincere apologies."

He replied, it took a ton of effort to get here and you weren't expecting that answer of course,but just remember Impa's words..

-(Y/C): "I... Understand, if it's a tradition then it's none of my business and I should respect it, thanks for listening at least."

You proceeded to bow to the King for a last time with a forced smile even though you already knew the answer,you turned around and headed out of the throne room and when you went to the plaza.. You heard quite a nice voice.

-?: "Hey there.. are you feeling well?"

You looked at your right and saw a quite gentle but curious Zora talking to you.

-(Y/N): "Ah.. Ah! Excuse me! Didn't see you there, I'm doing well just kinda disappointed heh.."

-?: "Oh! Don't worry and I understand, My father can be quite strict when it comes to our people but I promise he can be softer than a piece of bread"

She chuckled, it didn't seem like a bad person at all, she was being so nice already.

-(Y/N): "Well.. You're right there, it was an understandable reason at least and I had to respect it, even though, I'm pretty messed up and I'm not doing that well, you guys got any place to stay for the night?"

-?: "Of course! We got an Inn and the visitors always love to come there, actually.."

She gently took something out of her back and gave it to you, seemed like a coupon for a free night exchangeable on the Inn.

-?: "You should have this at least, make sure to use it well and regain strength for tomorrow, as an apology for my father's decision."

-(Y/N): "Ah! Oh gosh, Thank you so much, you're being so nice with me and I just met you heh.. It's getting quite late so I better use it now, thanks uhh.. I never got your name hahah.."

-Mipha: "No worries, my name is Mipha and it was such a pleasure, hope to see you again soon."

-(Y/N): "Oh! The pleasure is mine! Thank you again and I'll see you tomorrow... Ah! And mine is (Y/N)"

Mipha chuckled waving at you from the distance while you were heading to the Inn to use the coupon.
Now, it's only you and the softest waterbed you could ever imagine,maybe coming here wasn't that bad if you could have the opportunity to rest in one of these. Now you had to think of another destination but while you were thinking you started falling asleep until you closed your eyes completely and went directly to the dream world.
