Under The Rain

Writer Note: Heya, I'm sorry if the first 3 chapters were only about the Reader's character and sorry if it was boring- I speak Spanish but I prefer writing in English, sorry if it's weird for you to read or if it doesn't make sense- I'm doing my best. We finally see somebody special here so hope you still want to keep reading after this chapter.

¦November 15th of 20XX, 9:42PM
Hyrule field.

During your trip you were quite relaxed taking a nap on the back of Dan's wagon, the rain sure was getting harder and you could even hear some loud thunders and the wind was getting quite stronger but at least you were getting closer to Rito Village, you could even see some small birds on the sky struggling to keep the fly.. But what mostly got your attention was a pretty huge one, bigger than the others.. And seemed to be having more difficulties to fly.

The wind was so strong and the huge bird was getting carried by it and getting out of control making it crash against the top of a large pine tree, you jumped out of Dan's Wagon in movement without his knowledge and started running towards the Tree seeing the Bird fall down from it getting hit on the head and body by several sticks on the tree and finally fell on the ground, when you finally got close enough you noticed.. It was a Blue Rito covered in Dirth and his plumage all soaked.

-(Y/N): "Hey.. Hey! Can you sta-"

You tried to put your hand on his body but the Avian removed it with a smack.

-?' "Don't bother.. I-I can help myse- Agh..!"

The Avian replied trying to get up but the effort was useless, seems like he got his foot broken and he has fallen on his right wing now broken too, now seems like he can't get up.

-(Y/N): "See? You can't even get up so let me help you at least.. "

You tried to put your hands under his body to carry him up but he refused to be helped.

-?: "I already told you.. I don't need any of your useless help! Now if you excu- AGH!!"

With another useless effort he tried to stand up once more but he was being too persistent with himself.

-?: ".....fine. Just.. carry me to the closest stable and leave me there."

Now relieved, you tried your best to lift him the slowest you could, he was quite light actually, it's not a huge surprise since he is a bird but.. He seemed.. Annoyed by the fact of being helped. Even so, now with him on his arms you started walking to the closest stable around.

-?: "There's a stable on the entrance of Rito Village, keep walking straight and we would be arriving in quite some minutes."

He said with a rough tone, there's still some time before arriving to the stable so..

-(Y/N): " And.. What's your name?"

You asked but he gasped and looked at you with a surprised face and his eyes wide open.

-?: "You.. Don't know me?! Seriously?! You gotta be kiddin- Ouch!!"

He replied and hurt himself trying to make a fist with his broken wing, apparently he seems to be quite well known.. But this is the first Rito you have ever seen in person.

-(Y/N): "I should.. Know you? You're the first Rito I've met so.. At least you could be more kind-"

-?: "......name's Revali, The Great Revali. A well-known Rito with quite an Hawkeye, master of the skies and an expert archer, must be a honor for you to have me as the first Rito you have ever met~"

He said with a smile, but quite a cocky smile- that somehow made you blush slightly by just looking at him talking about himself.

-(Y/N): "I see- So.. Do you live in the Rito village? I gotta ask something before headi-"

Before you could finish talking an extremely loud lighting striked down a tree at the distance.

-(Y/N): "AHH HECK!!"
You screamed shortly but somehow you felt a strong grip on your shoulders and chest.. Revali seemed to be clinging to your body and shaking nervously with his head on your chest.. He was very soft and you didn't feel cold anymore.. Your face was so red and your hearts beating so hard..

-(Y/N): "Even.. The great Revali is afraid of thunders..?"

-Revali: "Ah.. Eh? W-WHAT NO!"
He said loudly letting go your shoulders and and looked away feeling flustered.

-Revali: "It just.. Reminded me of something that happened back then,That's all."

-(Y/N): "I understand, we are heading closer so just wait a little longer!"

After a couple of minutes you were finally able to get to the Rito Stable and hurried up to get inside and went directly to one of the beds placing Revali gently on it while some other Ritos gathered around.

-Revali :"Well, it was time somebody worried about me heh"

-Rito guard: "Master Revali! You went out for 3 days and we didn't hear any word about you! And now look at you! What will our bos-"

-Revali: "I can take care of myself y'know? No need to worry, just had quite a shaky flight that's all."

-Rito Guard: "U-Understood.."

It was nice to see that Revali was safe now, wonder what would have happened if you weren't there,he seemed to have forgotten about you now and kept talking to the guards so it would be the best to let them be,you walked to the owner of the Stable and paid Revali's bed, it's the least you could do for him and then paid another one for yourself, at least now you were next to the Rito village.
