The kid and the dad advanced towards my cage. They didn't look familiar, so why did they smell familiar? I tried smelling them as they got closer. Who are they?

I shake my head a bit and the boy smiles down at me.

"Daddy, she is the right one! Hurry up and buy her!" The little boy demanded his dad as I sat there dumbfounded. They were going to buy me... As if I was a pet!

I scratched my neck and realized I had a collar on. What the heck? This was getting weirder and weirder!

I watched as the dad checked a tag on my cage and pulled out a wad of bills. I saw the top one, and man these guys must be rich! The man went up to the counter and bartered with the clerk until a deal was settled, then they darted me again.

Before I passed out, all I saw was an arm coming at me and my mom in the background, frowning.

Then it all went black.

I woke up in the forest with two wolves keeping me warm. I turned my head and saw a giant pure black wolf, the one that introduced me to the other wolves. On my other side was Kenny, both of them were fast asleep.

I tried to get up but I was pinned down by Kenny's leg over me.
