"Okay. Well then, can little boys like you fly?" Rudolph hovered from the floor towards the window.
"No... Maybe this was a bad idea." Tony backed away.
"No, no, human. Come, hold my hand." Rudolph said, holding his hand out for Tony to grab on while smiling at him to reassure him, that it will be fine. Tony gulped but held Rudolph's hand anyway. And at the second he held his hand, he hovered from the ground. "Now we fly!" Rudolph flew out the window but got held back when he saw Tony had held on to one of the curtains.
"I don't think, I can do this!" Tony shrieked looking down.
"Well, you're just a mortal, after all, you can not help." Rudolph let go of Tony's hand causing him to get back inside the room.
"Yes, I can! And I am so coming with you!" Tony poked his head out the window.
"Good, well then, let's take the first step." Rudolph held out his hand for the second time, and Tony took it.
"J-just don't drop me, okay?" Rudolph smirked.
"Tell yourself you're like a leaf floating in the breeze," Rudolph says, and as Tony closes his eyes, Rudolph dived down, causing Tony to shriek, then went to a full stop.
"Rudolph! That was so not floating!" Tony said while glaring at the said Vampire.
"Floating is boring anyways." Rudolph shot Tony a toothy grin. Tony was still glaring at him, but he smiled back at Rudolph after.
"Though this is scary... This is so awesome!" Tony smiled at Rudolph with excitement.
"Glad ya could enjoy it," Rudolph replied, and held Tony's hand tighter.
While they were flying and talking to each other, Rudolph spotted Rookery and his sidekick Maney, he accidentally let go of Tony's hand causing him to fall, but before he hit the ground, Rudolph caught him bridal style.
"Hey! Remember me? The kid who can't fly?" Tony spat while hitting Rudolph's chest. Rudolph dived down, putting Tony down, then shut him up, by hugging him.
"Sorry... I saw them... It's Rookery the Vampire Hunter, and his sidekick." Rudolph whispered into Tony's ear. "Playtime is over Tony, we need to get to my family and warn them," Rudolph says calmly. Tony hugged him back.
"We'll find them, I just know it," Tony whispered, resting his head on Rudolph's shoulder, not minding the coldness of his body. Rudolph smiled.
"Any idea, where they could be?" Rudolph says as they pulled away from the hug, and he looked at Tony. Tony raised a brow at the Vampire and started walking around him.
"Hmmm... You guys hang out at graveyards and crypts? Some places like that? Right?" Tony stopped behind Rudolph. Rudolph faced Tony.
"Well that's true, c'mon then let's go." He was gonna hold out his hand, but Tony had already taken a hold of it, Rudolph smiled at him. "If I remember right, there's an old graveyard around here," Rudolph says as they hover not too far from the ground to avoid Rookery's blinding light. Tony nodded his head, as he knew Rudolph knows what he is doing.
They fly around for some time and they stopped when they saw the said graveyard.
"Stay here for a while, I'll fetch you later," Rudolph said as he puts down Tony on a roof. Rudolph was gonna fly off, but Tony won't let go of his hand. "Trust me, Tony, I'll come back." Rudolph smiled and ruffled Tony's hair. Tony smiled and let him go.
"Alright, I'll wait."
