I wake up, Dawson hovering over me. He says "Good morning, beautiful."

I pull him closer, his body heat reflecting on me. He smiles. I hold him tightly, never wanting to let go. He kisses me lightly. I put my hands on his back, holding him tight. He kisses me harder.

This is like a fantasy that never ends. The perfect guy. With me.

He rolls over to the side, to let me get up. We both get out of bed. I stand up, dizzily.

I walk over to my clothes that I brought. I pull out my Bethany Mota black floral dress and a pair of nautical wedges.

"I think it's time that we can change in front of each other with no shame," I say.

He nods.

I take my clothes off, leaving me in my underwear and bra. I look over and see him with only his underwear on. He sees me looking and smiles. I step forward, closer to him, and give him a hug.

"Don't worry. We can't get in trouble anymore. Well, we never did before, but, yeah." I say.

He says, "I know... I just.. I'm just not used to it yet."

I pull away, back to where I was. I slid on my dress, anxious to see what he thought of it.

"You look absolutely amazing. You always do." He says.

I blush and say "Thank you. You never look bad. Ever. You're... Perfect. You look amazing no matter what you're in."

He smiles and gets dressed into his navy blue hoodie thing and skinny jeans both from Abercrombie. We sit down on the bed next to each other. I lean my head on his shoulder and his arms go around me.

"I love you." I say.

"I love you too, babe."

We put on our shoes and walked out. He started his car, and we got in.

He drove to Wedding Arrangements. We walked in, a little bell ringing to tell the workers someone just came in. One of them said "Over here!"

We walked to that lady. We sat down in the chairs in front of the desk. I put my hand on his thigh, subconsciously. He looked at me and smiled.

The lady said, "My name's Sherryl. Y'all sure do look like a cute couple."

I replied, "Thanks, Sherryl."

When we get finished planning, the total cost is $25,000. The date is September 13, 2022.

We walk out of Wedding Arrangements, holding hands. I say, "That went well. Now we have to make invitations and buy my dress and your tux. I guess we can do that today. But we have to go separately. You can't see my dress. I'll call some of my friends to come with me and you can get some of your friends to go with you."

We go back to his house, and I get in my car to go pick up Bailey. I leave, worried.

Once I arrive at Wedding Boutique with Bailey, we are amazed. This place is awesome. It's so beautiful. Bailey says "Come here."

She points out a dress with sequins at the torso. She says "Try it on."

I try it on and I like it, but it just isn't the dress I'm looking for. I find another dress, which looks perfect. It has ruffles at the bottom and a jewel at the bottom of the torso. I'm getting it. I look at the price tag. It says $1000.00. I try it on and walk out.

A woman walks up to me and says "You look beautiful in this dress! It fits you perfect!"

"Thank you," I reply.

"Do you want this one?" She says.

"I think so."

I go into the changing room and take off the dress. I bring it out so the lady can scan the price tag. Bailey pulls out a credit card and swipes it. The dress is now paid for.

We get back into the car and I drop Bailey off at her house. I tell her "Take the dress. Dawson doesn't need to see it."

Bailey says, "Okay. I have the perfect heels to match this!"

I drive away, nervous. The perfect dress for the perfect wedding.

I arrive back at Dawson's house, Dawson already there. He opens the door for me and takes my hand. We walk up to his room and shut the door behind us. I smile and hug him.

"I'm scared." I say.

"Why are you scared?" He says as we sit down on his bed.

"Because I don't know if this will work."

"If what will work?"

"This relationship."

"It has lasted many years, and I don't think that is going to change one bit."

"When I fall asleep in your arms, it's like God is holding me. Like I am where I'm supposed to be."

He pulls me closer, my fingers pulling the hem of his shirt. He kisses me. My hands make their way up his back, my arms filled with his body heat. His hands on my hips, pulling me as close as we can be.

I pull off his shirt, breaking the kiss. I feel every bump on his back, every bone, every muscle. With pleasure, Dawson pulls off my dress, which leaves me in my bra and underwear. He breaks the kiss, and smiles. He comes back, and kisses me harder.

I'm now farther away from him, so I wrap my legs around his hips. Every inch of our bodies, touching. His hands were now on my lower back, squeezing my hips. He kisses my chin, then my upper neck, then below my ear. He tugs a little.

My hands in his hair, him holding me, everything was perfect.

I let out a slight moan. He knew I was enjoying this.

He stopped, and went back to kissing me. His hands were holding my face. His kisses get harder and harder.

His hands, now on my back, slide into the back of my bra. I say, "Not yet." He gives me an upset look. I smile.

When we decide to stop, we just lay down. He pulls the sheets over us, since it is late. I cuddle up to him, my leg over his, my arm over his chest. He says, "Goodnight, darling. Sweet dreams," as he kisses the top of my head. I fall asleep, cuddled against him.
