I'm not gonna make it a Christmas chapter.

"Babe, my stomach hurts," I say.
"Here, take some Pepto."
"No, I refuse to take that crap. I'll throw it up."
"Well, we're out of Rollaids so you're gonna have to deal with it."
"Okay, well babe, you better get going. Don't want you to be late for work again."
"Okay, bye, I love you," he says, kissing my lips.
"Love you, too, babe. Have a good day at work."
"Mkay, bye." He leaves, leaving just me and my daughter here.
My stomach starts to feel queasy, so I run to the bathroom. I end up throwing last night's dinner up, most of it being acid since I haven't ate since yesterday.
"Mommy, are you okay?" I hear Autumn ask.
"Mommy doesn't feel good right now, baby."
I finally stop throwing up, brushing my teeth, and going back out to play with my daughter.
After a while, I feel the queasiness come back, ending up in another run to the bathroom to throw up.
I know this feeling. Wait, am I pregnant? Again?
About an hour before Dawson gets home, I decide to walk to Walgreen's, which is right down the street, taking Autumn in her stroller.
Once I arrive at Walgreen's, I quickly find myself in the pregnancy aisle. I get the One-Step. I rush home, running to the bathroom, seeing that I only have 15 minutes until he gets home.
I do the pregnancy test, waiting out my result. I don't want to look at it, but I have to. I take a quick glimpse at it. Two lines. I'm pregnant.
"Auttie! Come here!" I yell from the bathroom. She walks in, a confused look on her face.
"Yes, mommy?"
"Okay, I have a job for you. When daddy gets home, I want you to whisper in his ear, 'mommy is pregnant.' "
"Wait, mommy? You're pregnant!?!?"
"Yes, baby, I'm pregnant. You're gonna have a little baby brother or sister! You're gonna be a sissy!"
"I'm gonna be a sissy!? Yay!"
"Honey, I'm home!" I hear Dawson yell.
"Okay, Auttie, what are you going to say?"
" 'mommy's pregnant!' "
"Good girl. Now we're about to go tell him. Come on, baby." I walk out there, holding Autumn's hand. I let her go up to her father. She signals for him to come down to her level. She tells him.
"Wait, Paige, you're pregnant? We're gonna have another child?"
"Yes, baby." He comes up to me, hugging me.
"Paige, this is amazing! We're gonna have another child running around here! I'm going to be the father of another kid!"
"Ugh, I don't feel good."
"Here, let's all go to Walgreen's and then we can get you some stuff to help ease the pain."
We go to Walgreen's. I see some PreggyPops (lollies for pregnant people; used to reduce morning sickness), so I grab them, because they look pretty entreguing.
"Babe, I want Taco Bell!"
"Okay, let's go." We check out, going to Taco Bell.
"FOOOD!"
