The Nurses Office

I hear voices but can't make out what they are saying. One is a women's voice, she sounds worried. The other is a male voice he sounds very calm. Wait! Where am I? The voices. They found me! Its Mom and Dad I know it.

I slowly try to open my eyes but they are so heavy. I can only manage to twitch the lids. Something grabs my hand and I hear the women's voice again. But I can't understand her, I can't, I try, but I can't. Right now I just want them to forget about me. I want to forget about them. I want them to leave me alone.

I lay here for a few more minutes and then I finally try to open my eyes again. It took a few tries but I finally got them open and then I checked out my surroundings. I was in a nurses office and my mom and dad were not. That means I'm at the foster care center. Safe.

I slowly got up unsure if I could support my own weight. I got up and luckily was not dizzy. I crept to the door and opened it. Peeking into the hallway I saw nobody. I was alone. I went back to the cot and layed down. There was a note, how could I have not noticed it before.
Ash as you can see you are in a doctors office. If you do not remember, you had fainted when we walked into the bedroom. If there is nobody in the room with you right now it is really late get some rest while I try to find you a different sleeping arangment. When you wake we will talk.
