"i can't wait!!" she squealed "i get to go learn magic!!" her mother sighed with a smile on her face, her daughter was going to be the death of her. ————————————————— after ivy got on the train she looked for an empty compartment. she ended up finding one with 2 girls, a redhead, and a blonde both looked at the small brunette girl standing at the door and immediately welcomed her into their group even though they were 3 years older. the blondes name was marlene mckinnon and the redheads name was lilly evans and she recognized ivy as the daughter of the rich and powerful mayor of london; carson la rue. ivy had always grown up in the spotlight and had hoped that for once she would be able to stay in a place where no one would recognize her name or be scared of her because of her father. ivy hated gold diggers and was always making sure that people wouldn't just use her for her family's money. yet ivy always gave back to the community and was found volunteering on most weekends when she didn't have a gymnastics meet. by the time they got to hogwarts, ivy felt that she had made lifelong friends. ————————————————— her friends all waved goodbye to her and went over to the griffyndor table. ivy stood with all the other first years until a teacher called them all into the great hall for the sorting. the teacher picked up a hat, and to ivys surprise it began to sing. after it was done the teacher began calling names. after nolan lagrone (ravenclaw) it was ivys turn. the hat was only on her head for a split second before it yelled out HUFFLEPUFF! everyone clapped, but ivys new friends were the loudest. not counting the gray eyed boy sitting next to his friends. the hufflepuff prefect showed all of them to their new dorms, where ivy promptly fell asleep. —————————————————
