Even thought it has been already three days, Nishinoya and Tanaka both were still shoked. They were both still in shock from the yawning thing that happened between Kageyama and Hinata. And so was everyone in the team who witnessed everything.
There was also the fact Tsukishima started to call Tobio "bottom", but that's something everyone knew that was going to happen.
However, this only made the whole team even more determined to make HinaKage get together. But getting back to the present, as the chaotic second years were walking towards the gym, Tanaka had gotten an idea.
"Yū! I got a plan!" exclaimed Ryūnosuke.
"What is it, bro?" asked Nishinoya in curiosity an slight excitement.
After telling his plan to the libero, they instantly rushed to the gym, where the rest of the team was, only to see that the tangerine didn't arrive yet.
"Guys! We have an idea!" Noya yelled out.
"But we need Kageyama's help to make it happened!" added Tanaka.
With that sentence, everyone in the gym turned their heads to the mentioned setter. While the blueberry just looked at them in confusion, the others looked at him in excitement. Already aware that this was a plan to help HinaKage confess.
"We're all ears, Yū" said Sugawara in his sweet happy voice.
"This better not be something stupid" commented Tsukishima in his usual sarcastic tone.
"Alright! I'll just pretend I didn't hear that-" said Ryūnosuke.
"Kageyama! Did you ask Shouyo how he's doing today??" asked Yu.
The setter simply looked at his senpai in even more confusion than before. And in his state of confusion, this was the answer he let out:
"Umm... no? Why do you ask?"
"Great! now! listen here!" said Tanaka in excitement mixed with mischief.
After they finished telling them, the first year setter was a blushing mess as the others looked at him with eyes full of hope and excitement. A few seconds later, the blueberry was able to recompose himself and said as his answer:
"Over my dead body"
"Kageyama! Please! You really need to do this!" exclaimed Nishinoya.
"And why is that?" asked said blueberry with a raised eyebrow.
"You like Hinata, don't you?" asked the older setter back.
Said question made the younger setter looked at Suga with wide eyes and a light pink blush on his face.
"W-What?! Where did you get that from?! Of course I don't like that tangerine?!" Tobio stuttered out.
"The blush on your face says otherwise~" replied Yachi with a teasing tone.
Then the youngest team member looked at Hitoka with a 'you really had to say it?' look.
"But, seriously Kags. This could help you confess to him!" said Yamaguchi in an optimistic voice.
Which only made the blush on Tobio's cheeks grow with that sentence.
"... I'm still not doing it" said Kageyama, being as stubborn as ever.
"Oh come on! Pleaseeeeee! We'll do anything, just please do it!" begged Tanaka, getting a bit desperate for some reason.
After trying to convince Kageyama for a few minutes, they finally came to an agreement.
"If I do this, you guys will pay my milk for 2 months and you each one of guys will buy me something of my choice?" said Tobio, confirming the team's proposal.
"Yep!" agreed Asahi.
"But how did you guys convince the beanpole-" Kageyama tried to ask, but was immediately cut off by Tsukishima.
"Don't. ask."
"Ummm...o...k?
"So?? Will you do it??" asked Nishinoya in a hopeful voice.
There was a short moment of silence before the setter sighed and gave his answer.
"Ok. Fine" said Tobio in a done voice.
"Yes!!" exclaimed Kiyoko.
"Alright!! Thank you, Kageyama! And, you know the plan and when to put it into action!" said Tanaka.
With that,the team decided to wait for Hinata to arrive since practice wouldn't start until 10 minutes. Except for the youngest who decided to already start practing.
After 5 minutes, Shouyo arrived at the gym.
"Hey guys!" exclaimed Hinata
Tanaka looked at Kageyama with a look that said: He's here. Do it!
The setter sighed and went up to his partner in crime, while looking down. When he got there, he looked to the side and said:
"Hey. How's the most beautiful person in the world doing?"
The tangerine looked up at the blueberry with his shocked eyes and a slight blush on his face. The taller male, who was blushing as well, placed his hand on the back of his nape.
The shorter boy smirked a bit and got closer to his best friend and made the younger one face him with his hand. Tobio looked at Shouyo with a bit of confusion and embarrassment, as their faces were now inches away from each other.
Everyone else in the gym was watching the whole scene with eyes filled curiosity to what was going to happen next. Finally, after a few seconds of silence, the carrot top smiled slyly and answered the setter:
"I don't know. How are you, Kageyama?"
Tobio eyes widened and a red blush covered his checks as soon as the answer reached his ears. The girls were trying so hard to hold their squeals in and the boys were simply frozen in their places in shock.
After recomposing himself, the blueberry answered the tangerine's question, as he looked at anything that wasn't his short friend's direction.
"I-I'm fine" said Kageyama, stuttering a bit at the beginning of his sentence.
The short orange head one gave a small giggle before turning to his other teammates and saying as if nothing had happened:
"Alright! Let's start practice guys!"
And with that, they continued practice, but not even thinking of forgeting what happened. Now, the rest Karasuno volleyball team knew that the next step was to make the blueberry setter confess his fellings for his orange haired best friend. Or vice versa.
