Ever since The Golden Trio and The Silver Trio became couples with eachother their friend groups intertwined, becoming one huge group of six who you rarely saw alone.
They were often found at the far side of the no longer separated tables in the great hall, or all cuddled up with their significant others in the couches they accio'ed into the library.
They were so close you could mistake their couples quite easily.
