In Harry and Draco's favourite place, there is a huge tree, with a thick trunk; so they did what any sane person would:
Carved their names into it and claim it as their own. 
                          You could probably find on of them sat under there completing homework whilst the other swings upside down on a branch. 
                          One may argue (one meaning Hermione Granger) that you can't claim public and natural objects, but oh well. They hadn't killed themselves not listening to Hermione's probably perfectly rational arguments in the past, so why would it happen now?
