ok now back to the headcanon :>
Draco was a morning person. He always had been. Good nights sleep or not, He was always up before 8am, despite being dead tired.
Harry, however, not so much. He liked sleep. Just the thought of being up anytime before 8am made him sleepy, so whenever he had the chance to, he would sleep in.
Draco didn't mind this so much, actually he quite enjoyed the peace of being sat beside a sleeping Harry, catching up on a good book.
So I suppose, in a way, mornings worked out for them both.
