Am I A Disappointment?

"So do you guys want some snacks?"I ask V and Zack "no thank you," Zack says looking at his phone "yeah I would like some" V replies while spinning around in my chair, Zack looks up and her and sighs "V calm down" V stops spinning and juts stares at Zack "so V what would you like," I says while heading to the door "what do you guys have?" V replies and looked at me "Uhm we have Cheetos, Takis, we also have some ice cream if you want that" I said while looking at her "I'll just go with you" she stands up and heads over to me and we go downstairs. When we reach the kitchen my mom isn't sitting at the table anymore I looked confused around she always sat thereafter she had eaten dinner, I look down to see V smiling like she knows something "what?" I ask  "oh it's nothing" she starts giggling "what is it V?" I ask while looking around for snacks "sooo what Is your relationship with my brother??" she says looking at me very intense "we are just friends," I said looking at her then looking away again "just friends? Sureeeee" V walks over to me "yeah, look V just spit it out what are you trying to say?" I started getting annoyed for some reason "okay okay chill dude" she pauses "I don't think that you want to be just friends with my brother" I look at her in like a what are you talking about way "okay V what the fuck, I have a girlfriend" V rolled her eyes, I sigh and show her the snack we have she takes a bag of Doritos and we headed up to my room again. As we entered my room Zack looks up at me and says "I don't think your mom likes me" I look at him confused "what makes you think that?" I ask, "well she said to stay away from my son, so yeah don't think she likes me" V just sits back down in my chair, "let me talk with my mom," I say while leaving the room. I knock on the door into my mom's room and she opens it "can I talk with you real quick" I say with no expression on my face "yeah of course" she says following me down the stairs into the living room, we sit down facing each other "do you not like Zack?" I ask my mother and the expression on her face changes "Jackson, it's true I do not like your little friend you remember that night you had that fever right" I just nodded (how could I forget) "well you said your little friend's name in your sleep" I looked confused at my mom "what's wrong with me saying his name?" still confused "oh darling, it's not normal to dream about your friends, especially when you both are boys!" my mom yelled "w-what" I stutter "you know that, I did not raise a gay son I raised a straight son!" she said now raising her voice, I just stared at my hands "I said his name in my sleep?!" I mumbled to myself "you are a disappointment Jackson" my mom said I look up at her not knowing what to say, I just feel the teardrops down my cheeks "don't cry, you are not that weak" she says while walking up the stairs. After sitting on the couch crying with her words just going around in my head (I did not raise a gay son, you are a disappointment, you are not that weak) I hear footsteps coming down the stairs, I didn't even feel like looking up to see who it was then I hear running and someone just sits down in front of me and hugs me I looked over at the person it was Zack, V was standing behind him "I heard everything" V said in a low voice, I look at Zack then look over at her she just shook her head and says "no he did not hear anything he was listening to music", I look up at Zack and he places his hand on my cheek then he stands up and grabs my hand still not saying anything. Then I, Zack, and V walks up the stairs to my room and just sit on my bed, not a word is being said, I look over at my window "follow me" I said standing up getting my black hoodie, and crawling out of the window on to the roof, Zack and V follows me and we just sit there looking at the sunset "it's kinda cold up here" V giggles "here" I say while handing her my hoodie she smiles and puts it on "so uhm Jackson Can I maybe see a picture of your girlfriend?" V asks me, Zacks doesn't seem to like the fact that V wants to see my girlfriend, I just hand V my phone and she looks at the wallpaper of my phone, my girlfriend had set a picture of herself on my wallpaper, then V opens the camera app and takes a photo of us three, Zack obviously doesn't like to be taken pictures of which made me and V laugh a bit, after about 17 failed attempts to take a good picture V finally finds one she likes and puts it as my new wallpaper the hands back my phone to me, "Yo Z why are you so quiet?" V asks worried "hmm? Oh sorry I was just thinking about something" obviously not about good things he seems sad I looked at him and grabbed his hand V grabbed his other hand, he looks at us both like we were crazy or sum shit and started laughing. We just sat on the roof laughing for about 2 hours more before we decided to head back in and get some sleep...
