The Lake In The Forest

I wake up feeling incredibly tired, I couldn't really remember much from last night other than I was sad, I look around my room V is still sleeping and Zack is looking at his phone, he looks over at me "you can go back to sleep it only 6.25 am" he said, I just shook my head and sat up he put down his phone while just looking at me I look back at him confused "what?" I ask looking behind me if he was looking at something, no, he was looking directly at me then he looked over at V stood up, and went over to his little sister, and looked at her "hey Zack, are you okay?" I started getting worried he seemed different "yeah I'm fine," he said I barely heard him I stood up and walked over to him and sat beside him, "what's wrong," I said with a serious tone he looked at me a bit surprised and just looked away "look Jackson it's hard to explain, Okay?" he said he was clearly hiding something. V suddenly sat up and looked at us in a really weird way "well good morning to you guys too" I backed away a little and so did Zack, V looked at me then looked over at Zack "What is wrong Z?" V said, we both just looked at Zack, he seemed kinda annoyed "nothings wrong okay" he said now standing up walking over to the window in my room.

After some time we got ready to leave for school when V said "you wanna skip school today?" Zacks looks at me then over at V "that's a bad idea V, Jackson, and I has a test today" V looked at Zack and rolled her eyes "Fuck that test Zack let's just skip school" I said, V started laughing "yo you could invite your girlfriend!" V said excited ''you guys can skip school'' zack said rolling his eyes ''come on Z! it will be fun'' V said trying her best to get Zack to come with us, while V was trying to convince Zack to join I called Jessica (my girlfriend) and she picked up right away, "Hey Jess, wanna skip school today?" I ask, "yeah sure" she giggles a bit "where are we meeting?" Jessica asks I look over at Zack and V "where are we meeting up with her?" I ask them "hmm" V pauses "maybe meet up at her house?" V asks me and I ask Jessica "sure" she replies and she hangs up "did you convince Zack?" I ask, V nodded "lead the way Jackson" she laughs. We all start walking to Jessica's house, when we arrive we see her standing ok the porch waving to us "hey guys" Jessica smiles "Yo Jackson" Zack laughs while pointing at V who is just froze covering her mouth with one of her hands, "yooo she's so pretty" V says Jessica starts laughing and V looks around surprised "wait I said that out loud" she says looking around at all of us "Yeah you did" Zack trying not to laugh too hard, "S-so" Jessica says trying hard not to laugh, we all just laughed for about 2 minutes, when Jessica cleared her voice and asked, "so where are we going?" I look up in the sky, the weather is pretty nice today "I know the perfect place" I say, "where?" Zack asks "the forest" I can see that V is really excited, Zack looks a little nervous and Jessica is just smiling "okay, follow me," I say while heading to the forest. We walked thru the forest into a clearing with a lake, Jessica looks around "I never knew this existed" she said a bit surprised "wait if Jessica didn't know this place existed then how did you?" Zack asks me I look at him and say "my dad used to take me here when I was 3-4 years old" I smiled "should we go for a swim?" Jessica asks "yeah!" V says excited "V you need to calm down a bit," Zack says, V just laughs and walks over to Jessica, we all agreed to go for a swim in the lake.

Let me give you a small description of the lake, it's a pretty big lake, it is round and in the middle, there is a small island on the left side from where we went down there is a big tree with a swing.

V and Jessica were the first two people in the water I went down after them, Zack was sitting on the grass just looking at us, I went over to him to check if he was ok "Hey Zack" I say, he doesn't respond he's just looking at someone I turn around to look what he is looking at... He's looking at Jessica, I look at him again "hey dude are you okay?" I ask him still no reply I sigh and sit down beside him "hey?" I say finally he answers "hey.." I let out a sigh again "dude come with us in the water" I say while standing up "no I'm good" still has his eyes on Jessica, I walk over in front of him "why are you just looking at Jess?" I ask him "nothing," he says looking away, I get down so I'm looking into his eyes "What. Is. Wrong. Zack" I say he looks at me and just says "I'm sorry" I look behind me and I see that V and Jessica also had come over to check on Zack "Yo Z what's wrong," V asks him, he lets out a sigh and say "I'm jealous, okay?" V looks at Zack then over at Jessica then at me, Jessica just looks at him confused and so do I "okay Z you can be jealous later let's just have some fun!" V says pulling in Zack's arm he finally agrees and we all plays around in the water, V is just splashing water at all of us I look over at Zack and I get reminded of that dream I had, I kinda panicked and just said" I think I will head home" and so I did while just thinking of that dream.....
