Conn's P.O.V
The flight attendant took all our belongings except our clothes and one item of out choice. I was shaking with fear. "How long will this go on for?" Asked Mile. "It depends on how blood thirsty you and your fellow class mates are. The faster all of you die the faster it will al end" replied the flight attendant. " What if we refuse to kill the others" asked Kieran? "You won't be killing the others. You will be more of a third person killer." She replied.
"What do you mean?" I asked puzzled by what she said. " I can't really explain it so I'll show you" she responded. She left the room and returned about five minutes later carrying four boxes. She handed us one each. I opened the box along with the others and inside were two things. There was a regular bracelet and a big golden cylindrical object.
"The bracelet is what is kept in your memory when you die and the cylindrical object is called a summoner. There is a triangle in each of your summoners you can collect more where you are going. Each triangle has a picture of a creature on it when the summoner is used it creates that creature to battle an enemy" she told us.
"Do we have to use this to kill an enemy or can we kill them ourselves?" Asked Sasha. "The idea of this is that you kill your enemy by any means possible" the attendant replied. "We are almost at the arena now" she said looking out the window. "You will be left in a camp which you can only exit through the portals around it. There are two hundred portals and in each a crystal you must collect. All groups have the same portals so you will meet up with the others. Good luck." She said
The floor beneath us opened and we fell down while the attendant managed to stay floating. We dropped about a metre to the ground. The camp was very good and comfortable. There was an exit that led to the portals and a bed for each of us. It was really a house. There was even a fridge.
Unfortunatley when I opened the fridge there was nothing but a note saying : if you want to eat you must collect food in the portals. It was now late and getting dark. We were really hungry but decided to get some sleep for tomorrow to set off. I don't know how the night was for the others but I got no sleep at all.
The item I chose to keep was my watch. I watched the clock all night and woke the others up at four a.m we managed to leave by half four. I and the others were shaking with fear. We went out the door and outside there was millions of portals.
We decided on the first one. I went first and when I stepped in I immediately came out on the other side. I was followed closely by the others. I looked around me to see where I was. I was amazed by what I saw it was breathtaking.
We were miles above the ocean standing on the rainbow. I heard a voice from above saying "You have ten minutes or you will sink through the rainbow." I looked above me and there there was a crystal.
I pointed it out to the others. We made a human pyramid with Mile at the top. She was about to get the crystal when a portal appeared and Tyra, Iris, Richard and Ryan came through. Tyra ran at me who was at the bottom of the pyramid and we all fell to the ground.
"Do you really think that you stood a chance against us?" She exclaimed. "You thought you could beat team spell bind?" she continued. We already collected three crystals last night and killed about five student" she said with a laugh.
"Your monsters" shouted Kieran. "No we're just the best " said Richard. He stepped forward and pushed Kieran who had just clambered to his feet. Kieran landed half way off the edge of the rainbow. I reached down to help him up.
When he got up he punched Richard in the face which made his nose bleed then pushed him sending him off the side. Ryan grabbed Richards hand and pulled him up. The four fled to the portal.
"Thank God that's over" said Richard with a sigh of relief. "You could have killed him!" shouted Sasha. "It was self defence" he replied. "Break it up" I said pushing them apart. "We don't have long left before we sink" added Mile
We formed the human pyramid again and grabbed the crystal. We ran through the portal and landed at the camp again. In the sitting room there was a holder for every crystal. We placed it in and went to the kitchen.
Now in the fridge there was a big fish and bread. Sarah cooked the fish and we even had some left for the next day. I got a few hours sleep that night and was very grateful.
