*Leslie's POV*
"The wind is getting stronger.." I mutter under my breath to Bear- as if he can even understand me.
There's hair in my mouth but my hands are too numb to move it. I'm wearing a puffy black jacket in April because it is freezing outside.
I turn my head to look across the road and notice a girl I've never seen before. My neighbourhood is small and I know everyone. Or, at least I did until this girl showed up.
Her hair is pink, like cotton candy skies. It looked like it was as soft as silk. Her eyes were a mixture of blue, green and gold.
Before I can even ask for her name, several cars drove past us. And with that, she was gone. For a second I thought I had made her up- that she was just a figure of my imagination. However, I end up feeling a tap on my shoulder and I turn around to see her standing right in front of me.
She had extended her hand. I'm assuming she wanted the shake hands, but she was putting my dog instead. I smiled at her sheepishly. She's actually petting my dog. I kneel down to put my dog and so does she.
I saw her lips moving but no words came out- they probably did but I couldn't focus. Next thing I know I fell to the ground and everything went black. Did I just black out in front of a stranger? Shit. What do I do?
Huh? She's lifting me up? That's rather odd. Crap, I hear other voices.
