*Allison's POV*

"Mm, let's see...Delilah? Nope, too long. How about just kitty? Too original. Oh, I got it! Dover! That should be your name. I think I've got some left over cat food from when my parents used to have cats. Wanna come with me Dover?"
I head downstairs to the kitchen and Dover follows quickly behind me. Maybe she knows I'm getting her something to eat? I'm not too sure how cats think.

Dover looks at me, almost as if she had just smiled at me. I think I am going insane. I go get her a bowl and look in the pantry for some cat food. I obviously check the expiry date to make sure it is still edible and it is. I pour a bit of the kibbles into a small plastic bowl for Dover and bring it to the kitchen and place it on the ground.

"Alright Dover, here's your meal!" I think I'm too cheerful this morning. How much sleep did I even get? "Meow." Aww she eats so cutely.

*BEEP*

Oh.. its Mike!? Should I call him? He said he's free... The phone started ringing- oh well now I have to pick up.

On the phone:

M: "Hello?
A: Hey!
M: Hi Allison.
A: Hi Mike!
M: You doing alright?
A: Yes I'm good.
M: Where are the parents?
A: Mom and dad? They are out right now.
M: Damn, whole place to yourself huh? Do you know when they'll be back?
A: Don't know when they will be back.
M:Ah okay. You good with food, you know where it is...right?
A: Yes, I know where the food is.
M: You know what you're doing with the stove and oven tops?
A: Yes, I know what I'm doing.
M: Anything new with you?
A: Oh I found this cat..
M: Are you going to be keeping the cat?
A: Yes I'm going to keep her till she shows signs that she has another family.
M: Does she have a collar?
A: She doesn't have a collar.
M: She could be a stray..
A: Yeah I know she could be a stray.

My brother ladies and gentlemen. He is so concerned about me he just had to call. I mean- yeah he's great and all but I know what I'm doing. It's not like I'm a kid anymore. I just hope he hadn't listened to the voice message I sent him earlier-

M:  So, who's the guy?
A: Excuse me? Guy?
M: Yeah, you said you met someone.
A: And you assume their gender?
M: Geez, I'm sorry. So... who's the.. person?
A: Oh my god Michael. Her name is Leslie.
M: Leslie? You've gotta be kidding me. That's her name?
A: Okay, well. You've definitely changed. Good bye Michael.
M: Wait Alli-

*BEEP*

Why is he like this? Did University really change my kind, sensitive older brother to someone who judges a person before they actually meet? Like who the hell does he think he is?

*BEEP*

Oh hell no!

A: Listen here Michael! You are such and insensitive PIG!
L: Did I call at the wrong time?
A: Leslie? What are you doing? You called?
L: Um, well Yes. I wanted to see how you were doing. Also..I've been knocking on your door for a while and I guess you didn't hear me.. so I called.
A: Oh.. yeah that makes sense..
L: So.. Who's this insensitive pig.. Michael?
A: How about I let you in the house and I could tell you later?
L: Ohh, you're gonna tell me later all about the pig, huh? Cool cool. Okay please let me in, it's kinda cold out here.
A: Right right, okay, see you soon! Byeeee!
L: Haha, okayy!

I hang up my phone and leave it on the kitchen table. I fix up my outfit really quickly because my new friend is literally outside the front door right now. Eeeee!
"Okay, okay.. Be cool.. be cool."

I open up the front door, and there I see Leslie wearing an oversized navy blue crop sweater with tights that go all the way up to her stomach and a black skirt. Wow.. chains everywhere. So wait.. so much e-girl energy coming off her.

"Are you, Leslie, an e-girl?"
