*Leslie's POV*
My eyes go wide as she calls me 'very cute'. Well this day is just so interesting. "Hey Ally? I'm gonna head inside because it is freezing. I'll call you later okay?" Allison smiles shyly and lets me go. I watch her walk away for a few minutes before heading in myself.
I open up the front door and Bear goes running to his bed to lay down and potentially sleep. "Hello? Anybody home?" I look around and notice a note on the kitchen counter.
It read:
Leslie, darling, your father and I are heading to the airport. We are taking a weeks long trip in Lima, Peru for our retirement party. We ordered you a large pizza, it is in the fridge. We hope you'll behave like we know you will. Don't have a party, but you can have friends over. Make sure to take care of Bear the whole time we will be gone.'
Well thats great. I'm home alone...for a week. Before I can relax I tidy up the parts of the house that are very messy. For instance, the kitchen, the floors, the bedrooms and the basement. By the time I have finished cleaning its 7pm. I think it's too late to have a friend over, so I'll text Allison letting her know I'll pick her up tomorrow instead of tonight.
Texting Ally <3
L: Hey Ally!
A: Hey Lee!
L: Just letting you know that I won't be able to pick you up tonight for our dinner plans.
A: Oh, did something come up with your parents?
L: Sorta? They are at the airport right now..
A: Oooh what for?
L: Well they are taking a weeks long trip for their retirement party all the way in Lima, Peru.
A: Oooh, so you have the house all to yourself, huh?
L: Well, yes technically that is true. But it's not just me.
A: Who else is there?
L: How can you forget??
A: ????
L: Bear is obviously here with me!
A: OOOH haha! Sorry 'bout that! <3
Later...
About an hour and a half goes by and I tell Ally that I have to go do homework. We say our goodbyes and goodnights to each other and that was how my night went. I did stay up late with Bear watching a movie and of course, doing homework. As I head up to my room at 2 in the morning I receive a message from Ally. Before I can open it my phone starts to vibrate. Of shit, she's calling me. What do I do? Do I answer the phone or text her back first. Oh God, here goes nothing.
On the phone:
L: "Hello? Its 2AM Ally, aren't you supposed to be asleep?"
A: "Look at this, someone younger than me telling me to go to bed?"
L: "Well look at this, someone older than me- a role model staying up late at odd hours telling me what to do and doing god know what?"
Morning...
We both giggle and talk on the phone till sunrise. I end up sleeping in because I had zero hours of sleep because of a certain someone. I send her a text message saying 'goodnight <3' but she hasn't seen it. Maybe she fell asleep already. I notice Bear on my bed sleeping soundly. I decided not to wake him so I slept on the couch in my room. I'm too nice to my doggo.
