Confess?

Byullie's POV

The morning came and I didn’t know what to do. How can I deal with her. I immediately texted Gab.

"Gab, shall we continue our night later?"

"Yes unnie, later hihi~."

I prepared what I was going to give to Maria and suddenly my phone vibrated.

Maria
"You'll be with Gab and me later. See you later."

When I read the message, my heart beat faster. I didn’t take it to my house anymore and I immediately took a taxi. I passed two streets, I called Gab in my extreme nervousness.

* phone rings *

"Hello! Where have you been?" I raised my voice in extreme nervousness.

"I'm leaving here in my apartment."

"OK! Bye!" I immediately dropped the call. I don't know why I'm so nervous.

Maria's POV
I want to ask him why he turned his back on me the other day. I prepare my things to bring. Before I leave to my house, I texted Byullie.

Me
"You'll be with Gab and me later. See you later."

After I texted it to her, I feel more curious. All I want is to asked her why she feels anxious everytime that I met her. It's disturbing to think that Byullie has feelings for me, I also don't want to think that way because I don't want to hurt myself. I got in my car and drove from Seoul to Incheon. I want this turmoil in my mind to end. The road was good and there was no traffic, I got to Incheon quickly. When I parked outside the mall, I texted Gab if they could arrive.

Me:
"Will you get here in Incheon?"

Gab:
"I can't be with Byullie. Miss Honey suddenly called me. The photoshoot I'm going to is urgent. I'm sorry."

When I received the text from Gab, my heart skips a beat fastly. I don't know where I can find the strength to talk to Byullie.

Byullie's POV
When I arrived at Incheon Mall, I texted Gab.

Me:
“Have you been inside the mall yet?"

Gab:
"Sorry unnie~. Miss Honey suddenly called me because there's an urgent photoshoot today. Maria seems to be going there."

My goodness! I really have nothing to say to Gab. I don’t know if she’s mistaken in what she’s doing. When the call went down, I looked for Maria. When I turned to the left, I saw her and she was carrying a large paper bag. She waved at me and the pleasant of her face as she smiled. She invited me to take a walk inside the mall and we first hung out in the small park near the mall and here we talked.

"Looks like Gab's set us up, isn't she?" I jokingly asked her.

"You know her, there are only two reasons for it. It's either she's going somewhere urgent or she's lazy.", she replied jokingly.

"Oh! This is my appreciation gift because I worked for you last month ..." I would have continued what I was going to say and she would suddenly point it out.

"You would have given it when I was on my way home but you suddenly turned around and went back to the photoshoot room because you saw me with a man. Am I right?" How did he know that? Don't assume Byullie. It will only hurt me to assume.

"You don't have to turn away because I have a man with me. That's my friend. He went to me and asked me if he had a chance with me and my answer with him was no because I haven't seen myself that I can be with him forever.", she confessed on that incident.

"I'm sorry if I turned my back on you during those hours. I won't do that again. I don't want to be rude." I apologized to her.

"Oh it's nothing! As long as you have something to say or to give, don't be shy to come to me. Is that okay?", she said then she raised her hand slightly. I shook her hand so that it would disappear when I assumed to her and nodded. "Ah! It's for you. Thank you for helping me with the photoshoot. I still don't have enough to give you. Let's eat, It's my treat.", she gave the gift and immediately pulled me to the restaurant here in the mall. Before we ate, she told me something. "From now on, we're friends. Is that okay?", she raised her left hand and thumbs ups to me and I also clasped my hand to her which means I agreed to her last request. Afterwards, we have so much to ate and talked about. She drove me from Incheon back to Seoul. Before I entered my apartment, I thanked her for the chill talk and trip in Incheon. When her car pulled up, I entered my apartment and went straight to bed with a smile. I hope it's always like that. I still want to get to know her more. As I remembered what had happened earlier, I immediately fell asleep.

"Today, Byullie and I had a great conversation. I hope that will happen again on other day, and I hope to get to know her more. I hope that my feelings to her is real. Good night." - Maria (December 1, 2025)
