The Day I Met You

Maria's POV

After a 1-week vacation in Jeonju, Gab and I returned immediately to Seoul. Honestly, I want to extend my vacation. In case when I refuse the offer, I will be fired from the model agency. Hmmmm... While I was driving at 8'o clock in the morning, Roy's name flashed on the small monitor. I just got back here to Seoul, he suddenly showed up for me. I do not answer his calls because I do not want to stress myself. When I arrived, I noticed that the trees were dry; it's autumn season now. This is my favorite season here in Seoul. You can see the orange and light brown leaves scattered along the road, and there are small leaves that slowly fall off. If I had the power to stay this season, I would love to roam and drive to my work. Upon entering a room, there is a white screen attached to the wall, lighting fixtures, and cameras flashing. All that, the directors and photographers are watching. While walking to the dressing room, I met Ms. Honey.

"Ah. Good morning, darling. The clothes you are going to wear are already ready in the dressing room. The theme of this month's photoshoot is Fall Season, so I want to work with you and I know you like autumn. Come on! I'll help you in the dressing room.", after she said it, she guide me to the dressing room and immediately helped me choose what to wear with her colleagues, make-up artists and hairstylists are also here. As far as I am observed, they are diligent in taking care of this project. I remember having a photographer with me in the photoshoot. Oops! Maybe he has backed away or maybe he can be my lover. Aish! Work first and do not flirt, hmmm.. When Ms. Honey and I came out in the dressing room, we approached a woman with bun-tied purple hair, a 5'5" tall,wearing a red and white jacket and red jogging pants, and a DLSR camera hanging on her arm. As I saw her face, she wears less make-up. She looks simple, but there is a stunt because of her outfit. I admit, she has a good taste when it comes to fashion. As she approached us, we heard that there were female staffs squirming. Ms. Honey shush them and they immediately fell silent. As the two of us approached, Ms. Honey immediately introduced me to the photographer for the photoshoot.

"Maria, I will introduce you to our fellow photographer for this photoshoot. She is Byullie." said Ms. Honey.

"Byullie, she is the one you can work on in this photoshoot. She's one of the best models in my agency, she is Maria.", she added. After Ms. Honey introduced me to Byullie, I raised my arm slightly so I could shake hands with her but she didn't do it. Instead, she confronted Ms. Honey and she talked to her like I was invisible to her. Aish! It's frustrating that I can work. Just calm down self, this is a project.

"Come on! Let's get started." Byullie said to Ms. Honey. She looks really rude to me.

Byullie's POV

Of course after my two days off here in Seoul, I was going straight to work. As I was driving, Gabriella called me.

"Hello, unnie! Don't make my bestfriend angry later. You will really be responsible for me when she complains. What you did to me last time was annoying huh! You should be thankful because you are my friend." Gab said as she almost upset to me for what I did to her on last phone call.

"Okay, I'll take care of it. I'll drop the phone call, see you soon." I said as I dropped the phone call. After 20 minutes, I arrived at the parking lot near to the studio. When I got to the studio, the staffs was taking care of the photoshoot season today. As I sat, there were some female staffs approaching to take a picture of me. After that 15 seconds, the bodyguards stopped those female staffs. Who can I work for as a model. I hope she is better than me when it comes to looks. I was restless in my seat, so I stood up and looked behind me. As I turned around, I saw Ms. Honey with the model I can work with came out to their dressing room. As they walked, I saw a woman who was 5'3" tall, her skin was brunette, her eyes were narrow, her lips were red, her dark hair was loose, and her face was round. As she walks, I noticed that she is a good model and her aura is so strong. As the two of them approached me, Ms. Honey immediately introduced me to the model for the photoshoot.

"Maria, I will introduce you to our fellow photographer for this photoshoot. Her name is Byullie." Ms. Honey said to her.

"Byullie, she is the one you can work on in this photoshoot. She's one of the best models in my agency, she is Maria.", she added. After Ms. Honey introduced Maria to me, she raised her arm slightly so she could shake hands with me but I didn't do it. Instead, I confronted to Ms. Honey and I talked to her. I really don't know how to interact with her since it is the first time that I met her. After the short discussion for the photoshoot, I asked all the staffs to cooperate with me and to her. As I sit to my customized chair, I saw her face. I think she was frustrated because of my action earlier.

"Come on! Let's get started." I said to Ms. Honey and Maria. As she go to the white background, I advise her to do something.

"Maria, try to model yourself now. Feel yourself as a model. I'll give you a 3-straight shots, okay?" I advise Maria. From the first to the third pose, it was seen that there were missing something in those pictures. Her pose and angle are beautiful, but something is missing. Maria approached me.

"Ms. Byullie, I think we lack the background's color, movement amd contrast. Since we are in the studio, I do not feel the theme of our photoshoot." Maria said and I also agreed with what she said. In her expression of opinion, I think there is a point in what she is saying. That's why clients love her so much. When I heard her opinion, I decided.

"All the cameras and lighting staffs, come with me outside. And you Maria, come with me too. Let's take a photoshoot outside." I command my staffs and Maria. When I took her poses again, that's where the photos came alive. In her last pose, she pretended to be walking and at the same time slowly dropped the dry leaves to her from the trees surrounding the outside of the studio. Then, I asked her to turned her face to me. As she turned her face, her hair and her shoulders swayed a little bit as the same time. She looks so beautiful, it feels like there is something on her , it's not just her beauty but her real self. I feel like she was tamed me because the way she looked at me. There were some shots that look so incredible, but the shot that I took when she turned was the best for me. As I showed some pictures to her. She asked me.

"If you were to choose, which one would you prefer?", she asked me.

"The 6th one. You did a good job there." I replied. I can't look at her and even in the pictures. She might think I admire her.

"Wow! You make good choices when it comes to fashion.", she said as she tapped my arm. A few minutes later, we finished the photoshoot. After clearing some stuff, Ms. Honey and the staffs were go home early. Before I leave to the studio, I want to congradulate Maria for the success of the photoshoot but I saw her..

..with someone else.
