Chapter 5: GOT7 intros

Adjusting to being a pack had been hard for everyone. Yoongi and Namjoon had it the easiest being betas. It was Hobi, Jimin, and Tae who needed help figuring out their place as Alphas that weren't Pack Alphas as Jin was the obvious choice for that position. Everyone was waiting with bated breath to see if Kook would become another Alpha in the next few days and how that would affect the tentative dynamic they had settled on.

Of course, the hardest adjustment was Cas's adoption of rather peculiar quirks. Today was another weird day though as Cas had become especially clingy with Jin. She seemed to be doing and impression of a Koala anytime he entered the room. Literally running across the room as soon as he'd enter and grab onto him refusing to let go until one of the others hand to forcibly remove her from him and hold her. This had been going on for a couple of days. It was even worse at night, leading to Cas being put into the secondary nest with Namjoon for the last few nights as he was the only beta home as Yoongi was working on a new track and was staying at the studio 24/7. Add in her almost constant begging for sugar and it was rather obvious that Jin was getting to the end of his rope.

Hence why Kook had taken Cas with him to the gym earlier, hoping to get out some of her pent-up energy out. However, the argument that could be heard coming from the doorway would say otherwise.

"Why couldn't we stop for some ice cream on the way home JK? Please. No one would have had to know." Cas whined at the younger.

The other heard Jungkook sigh as he walked into the dorm, making it obvious that this argument had been going on for a while, "I already told you Cas, that would undo the workout we just did. Besides, Jin hyung made us dinner for tonight and you need to be eating healthy things."

She pouts and continues to whine, causing Hobi to speak up, "Cas, cut it out. You know Jungkook is right."

Jin calls for everyone to come to the table as he's finished up dinner. Jimin and Tae see Cas's eyes dart to the side and manage to catch her before she's able to run away to the nest. With one on either side of her, she's frog marched to the table and forced into a chair. Jimin serves up a bowl of rice and meat for her and Tae fixes up a plate of salad. Both are placed in front of her and she can't stop herself from gagging at the sight. Tears forming in her eyes.

"Cas" Jin growls warningly, but she doesn't listen and crosses her arms across her chest.

"Cas" Hobi says with some added bite, "Jin worked hard to make dinner for us tonight. You're being very rude right now."

Cas can feel the tears spring to her eyes for some reason that she doesn't even understand, but when Jimin starts to try to feed her from the bowl a growl escapes her before she slams her hands to her mouth.

The others turn to her in shock and now all the alphas are sporting faces with varying degrees of anger. Cas takes advantage of the momentary confusion of the others to jump back from the table and rush towards the door. Grabbing a pair of shoes and her jacket she's out the door in an instant, running out of the building and down the sidewalk.

After running for a while she ends up at the apartment she was looking for, knocking incessantly until the door swings open to the confused face of Jackson Wang.

"Cas?" He asks while looking at her, "Does Namjoon know you're here?"

She starts pulling at her hair nervously, "No no, no one knows I'm here. I need Youngjae. I don't know what's happening. I need him. Jackson. What's happening? I don't know why I did it. I don't know what's happening. Where's Youngjae?" She's clinging to the front of Jackson as she starts crying.

He places an arm around her, pulling her inside the dorm and into the living room area where the others had paused the movie they were watching. Youngjae catches one look of Cas and is up over the couch coming at her grabbing her from Jackson to pull her towards the couch he'd been sharing with Mark and BamBam. As they pass JB, though, she removes herself from his arms and jumps into JB's lap nose going straight to his neck and clinging to him with everything she has.

JB blinks for a minute before taking it in stride and bringing his own arms up to wrap around her as the others gather across from them to watch her. "Pack Alpha clinginess. Huh. I wonder how she was able to leave their dorm in this state." Jinyoung says while leaning forward to watch JB cuddle the still distraught Omega.

"Whatcha mean?" Gyeom asks.

"You'll see in a minute." Jinyoung says before crouching in front of Cas and asking in a low voice, "You craving sugar right now Cas, sweetheart?"

She nods into JB's shoulder. Jinyoung grabs the chocolate bar Mark is passing him, waving it in front of the Omega. She eagerly turns in JB's lap, grabbing the chocolate bar and curling in on herself as she quickly starts chowing down on it.

The others seem to have caught on at this point as the eye her with concern. The chocolate bar is gone in less than a minute and they watch as she starts looking around the room for more. "That's not good." BamBam says while scratching his head.

Mark sits down next to JB, handing Cas some more chocolate, "Can you explain what happened Cas? Why are you here instead of at the dorm?"

Cas starts sniffing while holding the chocolate bar closer to herself, "I growled at Jimin cause he tried to feed me the food Jin made after I gagged seeing it. All I've been wanting is sugar, but the guys say it's not healthy and won't give me any. And Hobi got mad at me for being rude to Jin. And Jin's mad at me for being too clingy and put me in the other nest with Namjoon, who just keeps lecturing me. But all I want is cuddles and sugar and it's been all week. And I don't know what to do. I never growl at anyone, but my Omega side is really really upset and antsy and I don't get it. So I cam here hoping Youngjae could help. And I didn't want Jin to punish me for growling cause everyone looked really mad at me."

She's still sniffing into JB's shoulder as his grip tightens throughout her story. His face is blank as he starts giving out orders to the rest of his pack, "Jinyoung and Gyeom, can you two go make a sweet run? Grab as much sugar as you can find. Candy, ice cream, energy drinks, everything. Jackson, call Namjoon and tell him we have Cas and will drop her off at their dorm in the morning. Also tell him I expect to meet with him and Jin tomorrow morning at BigHit's office. We have some things to talk about it would seem. Youngjae, darling, can you and BamBam get the nest ready. We'll between myself and Mark to see if we can make up for the nights she's spent in a secondary nest."

The others all nod and start going about their tasks as Mark continues to feed Cas from the pile of chocolate he's got in his lap.
