"Welcome!" The employee greeted Jin and Taehyung excitedly as the door opened.
Jin and Taehyung entered together. Jin seemed awfully quite since they came from the park. Taehyung was also confused as to why he felt the urge to tell Seokjin that he would stay back if there was a special reason.
The receptionist smiled which was far from genuine. She probably was too tired of smiling at everyone.
"How can I help you two?"
Taehyung kept quiet waiting for Jin to take lead. Maybe Jin was sure that Taehyung will talk because he too kept quiet. But when the receptionist looked at them weirdly Jin realised and started to speak.
"You see we found this puppy in our college grounds. We wanted to take care of it but unfortunately pets are restricted in the campus. So we both" he gestured between himself and Taehyung "were thinking that maybe we can leave the pup in your care. Except it cannot be sold. It will be ours."
The receptionist considered for a second "If we are not allowed to let other people adopt the dog then you must sign as the owner of the dog. Also I hope you know that you must pay a monthly amount. If you are okay with all of these, then" She pulled out two forms and pointed at one "Fill this to accept guardianship of the dog" she pointed at the other one "And this to enter the payment details. Make sure to check the clauses before signing to make sure there are no disagreements later on"
This time Taehyung took lead and nodded as he took a pen from the receptionists desk.
He filled in the dog's name, his contact details and some other stuff that Jin found boring. But looking at how Taehyung was filling it with ease, Taehyung must have had some experience.
The receptionist took back the forms as Taehyung finished "One more thing before I forget. Since you guys are still in college, we require an adults confirmation in the form. This is because I assume that you both are not working and the adult signature is to confirm that you are willing to pay"
Well, this was unexpected. Where would they get an adult from!?
Taehyung and Seokjin shared a glance.
"Is my mother...... Okay?" Jin said suddenly.
Taehyung looked at him surprised.
The receptionist nodded "Absolutely. When can you get the signature and when will you live the pup.... Jjangu in our care?"
