Chapter five (cinco)

I was pulled away from my thoughts as ranboo came behind me and placed his hand on my shoulders

"N/n do you know him" he questioned me making everyone look towards us now all the attention was on me making the atmosphere heavy

"Y/n..." I heard dave mutter before I cut him off again

"No I don't I confused him my bad" I turned my head towards the 2 older boys. "Nice to meet you my name is y/n and this is my younger brother ranboo" I spoke with the same monotone expression and voice

"Ah am Wilbur but Will is just fine nice to meet you! Phil and our younger siblings have said so much about you it's great to finally meet you both isn't that right techno?" Wilbur spoke out

From the corner of my eye, I could still see 'techno' with a shocked but saddened expression. I couldn't look him in the eyes

'Why am I like this'

"I was wondering, can to take us around the place I want to see what you guys do" Tommy broke the silence

" oh that's a great idea if that's alright with both of you" Phil exclaimed suddenly with an awkward chuckle and anxiously looking at ranboo and I

"Yeah that ok, we'll show you around" Ranboo stated as he grabbed my hand raced to the door making the rest follow

"Where would you like to go first" I spoke out not turning back and interwinding my hand into ranboo's

"Where do you guys usually go?" Asked tubbo as he caught up to us

"Hm let's go to the music room first" Ranboo said as he leads the whole way. As we arrived there were already several kids inside but paid no mind to us. "We usually play Minecraft on the computer as well as watch Phil's streams, we have custom made instruments, we did have a guitar but it broke after the only kid that knew how to play it got kicked out" He said as he showed a box full of empty water bottles with rocks in them

"Why did he get kicked out" Tubbo asked looking around

"He turned 18... he taught me a bit but I never got to fully learn" I said as I pointed to a corner next to the computer. "Ranboo and I usually sit in the corner watching kids play or do something since the computer doesn't have too much time here. I heard from the caretaker it was found in ruins but it's something" I shrugged and started walking outside the room to the dining hall with ranboo still in hand

I could already feel their judgment and so did ranboo as he squeezed my hand 

"We usually get our food here but we never actually have eaten along with the other" I stated as I pointed to a small area where they serve food.

"What do you guys usually eat?" Wilbur asked looking at stains on the floor

"For breakfast, it's usually somewhat fully cooked scrambled eggs, a cup of milk, and an apple. For lunch are just some crackers with apple juice, and for dinner chicken soup along with water." I responded turning back towards the door to leave 

"Every month they give us oatmeal for breakfast and ripe fruit and when it's our birthday we get raisin cookies!" ranboo commented along as he smiled 

I lead everyone to a small stationary room which was full of art supplies and books

"Y/n really likes coming into this room it has paper and pencils.. and books!" Ranboo exclaimed as he pushed the doors open

"Oh really that's nice what do you like to read y/n" Phil asked

"I actually sneak into the closed part which contains Greek mythology along with historical books" I muttered as I opened a small cabinet full of prohibited books

"She always cares a book around specifically the art of war " Ranboo exclaimed as he closed the cabinet and giving me a look

"What a coincidence techno also enjoys those types of books" Tommy muttered making me look at the floor not wanting to look at my now found older brother

"Do you guys have any friends? Why don't you introduce us to them" Will suggested as he gave us a sweet smile

"We only have our selves-" I muttered 

"Ah well all my friends got adopted and y/n has really not had any friends apart from older kids that were kicked out-" Ranboo stated as I pinched his hand in disagreement making me walk out leaving everyone behind

"Other than our room we go outside in a small field" I muttered as I heard ranboo shuffle behind me 

"Woah!! look at this place can we play here" Tubbo yelled as we stepped outside

"Sure I see why not try not to cause trouble or attract attention" Phil answered making tubbo drag ranboo away with Tommy behind them

Seeing this I headed to my usual area which was beneath a big Oaktree. I quietly watch the 3 boys chase after what seems to be a bee from a distance. After sometime I looked up to the leaves of the tree when suddenly I hear someone taking a seat next to me. I look to see who it is meeting dirty blond hair. 

"Hey" Phil smiled at me as I quietly stared at him. "Whatcha doing here all alone" He spoke as he stared into the sky

"I like the quiet but am looking for a hummingbird" I responded as I look to my feet seeing small ants hard at work

"Do you like hummingbirds?" I heard him ask in a more quiet tone them before

"Yeah... I do... someone once told me if you see one in that day it will be a very special day" I smiled as I brought my knees to my chest and rested my chin on them

"Well I guess hummingbirds are special" he hummed as we enjoyed the silence

I took a glance back at the 3 boys who were now in a circle with a flower in between them

"Why do you not want to look at techno" Phil asked making my eyes widen and quickly look back at him

"How did you kno-" I asked before I was cut off

"You have the same look in your eyes as him, your his sister am I wrong?" He said making my eyes sadden and look back at the ground

"Am not sure I guess I can't accept it... I lost hope in ever finding him ever again. Am not sure anymore... I can't bring myself to... am not sure how to react am not one with words nor with expressions" I muttered as I started drawing in the dirt with my finger

"Like brother like sister.." He chuckled making me look back at him in confusion

"Techno use to be just like that, I mean he still is but he eventually warmed up, and after time just by the way his eyes were, we were able to tell what he thought or felt" I heard another voice behind the tree speak. I immediately knew it was Will.

I looked around to where techno was located seeing him lay on the tall grass. Soon after wibur stood next to me looking at the other 3 boys playing in the distance 

"I undersand the felling of confusion but you are his sibling, plus he spent years looking for you although you gave up your search you should never give up, hope, always have faith" Wilbur said as he leaned down and ruffed my hair. Soon got up and headed towards techno

"He's not wrong as soon as you have faith then there should be nothing more then wait" Phil smiled towards me

Phil's POV

As soon as I had finished my sentence y/n's eyes grew wide with a small sparkle in both of her eyes. As I smiled at her a humming bird had flew behind her. She didn't seem to notice but after some seconds she got up and headed towards a field of flowers she carefully picked up two bright flowers. She came back and handed me one, we silent sat with flowers in hand soon enough a butterfly had landed on mine while a humming bird on her.

Her eyes lit up as she smiled a small calm but beautiful smile. Since the day I meet her she had that distance look but in realtity she was such a pretty soul. As soon as both the butterfly and hummingbird had left she got on her knees and placed her flower behind my ear. I sat dumbfolded as she ran towards her younger sibling.

"you have suffered so much I wish to stop your sadness" I whispered as I smiled at no one in particular looking down at the flower I had in my hands
