We ran into town, our hoods up over our ears, we saw dancers and fun. It was my birthday anyway. And that's when I asked Mother if I could stay until darkness fell.
She said yes and I leaped with joy.
I told Serena and Aries that we could stay until dark.
They were so happy.
Then we went to the store for the ingredients.
I saw two men there. Both with white hair and tattoos.
There was also a couple, an elf and a human.
They were laughing and talking.
I sighed, I'd never get to be like that. I'd never laugh with my parents. And besides, they didn't want me, or they died.
And that's when they saw me.
"Luna?"
"Yes?"
