I had been spending more time with Jax than I had with my dad. I had mixed feelings about the whole situation. I thought it might be best to go back to New York and finish my studies. But I had started to feel at home in Charming. I never felt especially safe in New York, not since I dated that gangster when I was sixteen. I'd gotten mixed up in some bad shit over those years. My phone buzzed.

"I'll be home in an hour"

It was sweet. Jax had been checking in all day, asking if I was okay, if I needed anything. I couldn't help thinking maybe he was into me. I was sure as hell into him.  After that dream I had a about him the other night, I thought about him all day, every day.

I wanted to make some dinner. Chicken wok was the dish I went for. As I was cooking I heard a knock on the door. When did people start knocking? Everyone had keys. I was getting suspicious, and grabbed the gun I found on the hat rack earlier. I peeked out the window, but couldn't see clearly. I realised that the door had this peephole. It was some woman I didn't know, but I opened up, keeping the gun available.

"Who are you?", I asked with suspicion. "I'm Wendy. Jax's wife. Who the hell are you? Another croweaterI bet", she said as she walked in and sat down by the kitchen table. "I'm Philips daugther", I informed her. "Who?". I rolled my eyes, "Chibs' daugther"She gave a nod, that signaled she was okay with my being here, not that I was looking for her approval. I continued cooking as she was smoking by the window. "Why are you staying here? How old are you? I didn't know Chibs had a kid". She kept asking me questions. I didn't have time to answer the first before she asked the next one. It was like a third degree interrogation. "You're doing a terrible job at hiding that gun", she said, with superiority in her voice. "I wasn't trying to", I answered, letting her know that she shouldn't mess with me.

The front door unlocked and opened up. "CassieI'm back", Jax declared. "So am I, babe", Wendy said. Jax's facial expression went from showing expectation to pure anger. "What the fuck are you doing here, Wendy?", Jax enquired of her. "I wanted to come home", she told him.

"You don't live here anymoreIt's time you get the fuck out of my house. Now."

For a moment I was scared he was gonna pull his gun out and start shooting up the place. "Get out, Wendy!", Jax shouted. She grabbed her bag and stormed out. Jax rubbed the bridge of his nose, showing frustration. "You shouldn't have let her in", he told me. "I'm sorry, I didn't know", I said. I think I sounded a little whiny. Sometimes I can't control how my words come out. "It's okay", he assured me. "I- uh.. I made dinner", I told him. I'm sure it sounded more like a question than it did a statement. "Thanks, I'm not hungry, though", he answered and went to his bedroom. I wrapped up the food and put it in the fridge.

"Knock, knock", I declared as I opened his bedroom door. God.. I can't believe I had become one of those people who says knock in stead of actually knocking. Jax was laying on his bed. He sat up as I aproached him. I sat down next to him and put my hand on his back. "You alright?", I asked. My eyes met his. He turned his body to mine and put his hand on my neck. I stroked his hair as he leaned in and kissed me. I could barely comprehend what was happening. He moved his hand from my neck down to my lower back and pulled me closer. And I let him. We heard the roaring of motorcycles outside, but it didn't bother him. "Jax", I whispered. "We're not home", he said, "They'll leave". He took off my shirt, and I his. My body tingled everytime he touched me.

"Jackie boy", my dad called in his strong scottish accent. I pulled away from Jax. A curly headed guy burst in. He looked at me and Jax and smirked. "We got wind of a new meth lab in Charming. Let's go, bro", he said. "I'm Tig, by the way", he added. "Aah-- the wierd one", I thought to myself. Jax picked his shirt up off the floor and headed out. "Okay, um-- bye", I said, annoyed.

"Who the fuck is this? I told you to get someone they care about!"

"Trust me, Jefe. This will hurt them. This little gash right here is their Sergeant at Arms' hija"

"Who, Chibs? That fucking scot ain't got no kid"

"Yeah, he does"

It was pitch black. I tried to scream but the gag wouldn't allow me. My head was foggy. "This is the Mayans", I thought. The last thing I remembered was Tig dragging Jax away from me. I heard steps and I mumbled through my gag. The guy walked around me and took my blind fold and gag off. "What the fuck", I exclaimed. "I bet you wished you never met your papi, right now". I looked down.

"Who knew that Telford could have such a hot baby girl", I heard from behind me. I tried to see what was going on but I couldn't get a good look. I was sitting in a chair in the middle of a dirty warehouse. One of the guys crouched down in front of me. He led his hand on the inside of my thigh. "Get your filthy hands off of me, you piece of shit", I shouted and spat in his face. It resulted in me getting a slap in the face. "Why are you doing this!? Let me go", i demanded. "Well, the Sons killed three of our guys this week, and we're retaliating". I could feel the vain in my forehead pulsating through my skin. "Hey! You came up to our lot and started firing at us", I shouted. "Yeah, that didn't go to well". The guy I can only assume was the leader came up to me with a cellphone and put it to my ear. "I'm sorry, sweetheart. We'll find you", I heard my dad say through the phone. "Dad, help me! They're gonna kill me", I cried. Their Jefe took the phone away. "Give us back our terf and you'll see your girl again"he said as he walked away. I couldn't catch what they were saying, but I could only hope they would come get me. One of the Mayans pulled out his gun. I thought that was it. I was going to die in dirty warehouse with a bunch of mexican thugs.

He pulled his arm back, charging and hitting me over the head and I blacked out.
