**Maki POV**

I sighed while dropping onto my bed. I had finished getting ready, but for some reason, I was nervous to go get Y/n like I said I would...

I can't believe I called her eyes beautiful. What the hell is wrong with me?

But they are beautiful. They're mesmerizing.

I remember the Kyoto students talking about her at the last exchange event. It was right after she had disappeared. None of them knew why, they only knew that no one could find her.

I wonder what changed. How'd she end up back here? I wonder how long she'll be sticking around this time.

Todo and Miwa wouldn't shut up about how pretty she was. And it was true. Even without those glistening eyes, she was so beautiful.

When she first walked up with Gojo-sensei I had to ignore her just so I wouldn't feel completely flustered.

She was also just as powerful as they said she would be. Probably even more so now since they never mentioned her Infinity. That must be a new technique for her.

And why had Gojo-sensei never mentioned her if they're family? You think he'd be proud to have another powerhouse coming from the Gojo clan. That's all these fucking clans cared about anyway, and she definitely lived up to the expectations.

I was nervous for her to find out about me. Once she knew I didn't have any cursed energy, she'd probably blow me off like everyone else from the clans usually do.

I glanced over at my phone as it started ringing. I sighed when I saw Nobara was calling.

"What?" I answered.

"We're all waiting!! Get Y/n and hurry the hell up!"

I hung up the phone and slowly stood. I just had to put on a brave face until we got to the group, then I'm sure Itadori or someone would keep her busy. He was already forcing his friendship on her anyway.

I knocked on her door, feeling my heart race a bit as I waited.

"Hey!" she smiled as she opened up the door. "Is everyone ready?"

She somehow looked even better than before. She wore ripped black jeans that rested high on her hips, the same black boots from earlier, and a simple black tank top that stopped short of her pants, letting a small sliver of her stomach peek through.

Another all black outfit complete with her small-framed black glasses... It was unbelievable how attracted I was to her.

"Yea, they're all waiting out front."

"O-oh, sorry. I hope I didn't hold everyone up," she said nervously as we walked.

I shook my head, "No, you're fine. They're just early."

I glanced over and noticed her cheeks turning a soft pink again. She blushed the same way earlier too. I didn't understand why she kept getting so flustered.

Was it because of me?

I didn't think it was possible that was the case, it'd be way too obvious. A sorcerer like her, she would be able to control her emotions more than that.

I figured it must be just the nerves of being somewhere new. Maybe it had to do with how she ended up back here in the first place.

"S-so where are we eating?" she asked as she looked over at me. I quickly faced forward again, realizing I hadn't just glanced at her but had actually been staring at her for a few moments.
