Mary-Grace Williams is a 16-year-old noble girl. The only child of the well-liked and well-known Williams family. Like the Phantomhives, the Williams became wealthy nobles due to their success in their profession. To the public, they're a wealthy, perfect, family owning multiple factories all over the world that create carriages for transportation.

Behind the doors of the Williams manor, you see the truth behind this family and their role in the 'underworld'. The Williams family behind closed doors are elite assassins, murderers. They are masterminds in the world of bloodshed. They're hired by other nobles and paid well for their 'services'. This didn't go unnoticed by the queen and sooner or later the Williams family became the queen's personal weapon.

Mary-Grace, like the rest of the family, was seen as perfect until behind the doors of the manor. The Williams family ran on a cycle. You were raised and trained in a punishment-reward system. This "system" is the cause for trauma and torture in Mary-Grace's life. Her parents were psychopaths and sociopaths. They were driven by anger, trauma, and intelligence. The second the manor's doors shut the image of a perfect family was shattered. Everything would turn volatile.

MG yawned as she slowly stretched out her arms and extended her back, sitting up in bed. She rubbed her tired eyes and began to stand up. It was later in the morning. Mary-grace smiled when finding out the current time. She loved mornings. She could enjoy her solitude and take in the world around her. It was time away from expectations and her parents. She could also remove the mask she had to put on for society. She flinched when putting both feet on the ground. The tile flooring was cold on her bare feet. Smoothing out the wrinkles and folds on her nightgown she quietly walked out of her room. She walked down the hallways of the manor and daydreamed while glaring into the family portraits hung on the wall. She shook her head back and forth in an attempt to get back into reality, to shake off the unwanted memories of her past that flashed into her mind while looking at the paintings. She continued to walk until reaching her study.

Her study, aside from the garden, was her favorite part of the manor. It was quiet and as long as her parents weren't around she could gaze out the window and take in the sights of the forest and roads surrounding her manor. Mary-Grace daydreams often. She's an amazing psychoanalyzer. By taking in sensory details she can learn a lot about people and places. This proves useful on 'missions'. To Mary-Grace's disliking, she had to actually start her day now.

She had been informed by her mother yesterday that their family would be attending a ball at the Trancy Manor. She was told that other nobles her age would be attending so she should be social while at the event. Other than that and the time they would be leaving, Mary-Grace wasn't given much information. For the most part, Mary-Grace enjoyed balls. She liked dancing and watching others during events but she hated having to put up an act. She was practically an obedient dog while talking to others at these sorts of events. She liked being able to listen to the music and watch couples sway on the dance floor from a safe distance.

Walking out of her study she returned to her room where her maid Ava-Louise was waiting with her gown. The gown had different patterns of white lace that traced down from the sides of her body onto the hem of the dress. This lace outlined the baby blue fabric that spread across the dress. Mary-Grace couldn't help stop and admire the dress. A smile threatened her maid Ava-Louise's lips as she looked at the girl's far-off look.

"You really know how to pick out a gown don't you?"

"I suppose so. Does this mean it's to your liking?"

"Of course, it's gorgeous," Mary-Grace said, giving her maid a warm smile that was returned.

"So how are you feeling about the party tonight? I know you're not the most fond of social events."

'It's not like I hate them, I'm just not the most social person at first so being thrown into a room, forced to smile and dance with strangers, and put up an act for hours isn't my ideal way of having fun."

"I do hope you enjoy yourself although these events are not your favorite, since there will be others your age it might be enjoyable?" Ava-Louise said, trying to help the girl look towards the bright side.

"Possibly," Mary-Grace answered bluntly.

"Now shall I get you dressed my lady?"

Mary-Grace only nodded in response. The maid began to undress and dress Mary-Grace until the gown was on and styled around the girls body. Slowly walking over to the mirror Mary-grace smiled slightly when seeing herself in the reflection. She's not one to be prideful or obsessive in her looks but right now she really felt beautiful.

"You look radiant in this gown my lady, are you ready for me to style your hair?"

"Yes, thank you."

Ava-Louise brushed through the girl's light acorn colored hair. Working with the mid-length hair the girl had she twirled it around into a bun sitting in the mid-back of her head. Leaving natural looking pieces framing her face she then placed in a hair piece holding the braded bun and wrapping around it. It looked as if Star Jasmine vines were wrapped into her hair.

Once completely ready, Ava-Louise walked downstairs her maid following close behind.  She saw both her parents waiting for her at the foyer of the mansion.
