When the front door suddenly opens, I tense unknowingly, my eyes darting to Jungkook's as I realize I'll have to connect with Jin now. He shoots me a smile, eyes warm as he nods at me, confirming that everything will be fine.

"We're back" Yoongi says before entering the living room to find me stuck between Taehyung and Hoseok, body almost hidden under their limbs. He huffs a smile before going to sit next to Namjoon, the latter snuggling lightly into his arms to welcome him. "You guys look like you're trying to make sure she can't flee" the black haired man says with a smirk, causing the two cuddling me to giggle. "She doesn't seem to mind" Hoseok says smugly, grinning even more when I nod at his words.

Yoongi hums, eyes bright and shining as he gazes at us when I hear another pair of feet enter the room. I look down, not really knowing how to bring the subject. I can't just look up and meet his eyes without him expecting it.

"Y/N, are you okay?" Jin asks, his feet stopping in front of me but keeping a safe distance. "I am. I just... I'm not wearing my lenses anymore. I didn't want to take you by surprise by looking into your eyes without telling you first" I say, hear him hum before he crouches in front of me. "We all connected with her earlier, there's only you missing now" Namjoon adds, pride in his voice at having a half of the process done.

"Then... would you be comfortable with connecting with me now? Or would you rather wait?" Jin asks me, voice soft and open to whatever it is that I want. I shake my head. "Now is fine, I don't want to push this back any longer" I reply, eyes still looking down before slowly looking up to his mouth. When the corners of his lips curve up, I decide that it's now or never and meet his eyes.

"You're saying you were attacked by a fan?" Jin asks me as we walk hand in hand. I nod. "He said he was my biggest fan, but when I told him I had to leave after thanking him, he became all aggressive on me, it was really weird. Luckily I was able to avoid him before he was taken care of by strangers but really, who does that? I'm not sure I want to go back there now" I explain, feel his hand tighten around mine.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there, I would've given him a good scolding and an even greater scare" he says with regret in his voice, but I shake my head with a smile. "It's fine, you were at a lower floor, it's not like you could know. So, did you find it? Was there a lot?" I ask and he beams with pride. "Not a single one! All gone! To celebrate that, let's go eat!" he exclaims before pulling me with him out of the building.

I chuckle and nod, feeling a little hungry anyway. "You always think about food" I tease him and he turns to me, eyes becoming yellow.

"I know, that's why you're always on my mind". I gasp and slap his arm with my free hand, faking being insulted by his words as he shoots me a wide smile, proud of himself.

 The memory ends there and I shoot Jin a bewildered look. "You told me I'm food" I mumble, barely hear the loud snorts surrounding us as he bites on his bottom lip, eyes turning an amused yellow. "Is that really so shocking?" he asks, a light laugh slipping past his lips. I pout, which makes him coo softly. "Aww you know you're not food' I'd never treat you as such" he says, eyes turning sweet puppy style to convince me. I huff, deciding to hide within Taehyung's arms, his body already ready to protect me.

Jin laughs and stands up to sit with Jimin, the latter pinching his side with his cute little fingers to punish the doctor. "You're impossible" the younger one whispers with a shake of his head, which only causes the others to laugh.

Not me, though, I'm the victim here. Hoseok pats my shoulder before leaning into my side to hug me with Taehyung. A protective cocoon to shield me from words that mean no harm, I'm well aware, but I'll play the game a little longer if that allows me to enjoy feeling their warmth against my skin, arms surrounding me and making me feel content, my soul relishing in the contact.
