THOSE FOUR WORDS caused you to hesitate. don't leave him? you wouldn't. not for the world.
but you couldn't stop it. you couldn't do anything. it was hopeless.
you ran to him, embracing him tight as if you would never see him again. and you knew you wouldn't.
"i'm sorry. i can't stop this. you fixed me, but i don't know if i can fix you." you stuttered out quietly.
"what do you mean?" he asked.
"i died with regrets. so i had a chance to fulfill those. i didn't know that it would cause me more pain." you paused. "i'm so sorry."
"i'm sorry too. i'm sorry i caused you more pain." he replied.
"none of this is your fault. thank you. thank you for everything, ranboo."
"thank you as well."
he hesitated as he was about to ask.
"why," he said, tears forming in his eyes. "why did you choose to spend your time with me?"
