You had joined in Bucky on his mission with Sam because this man just loved getting into trouble and into life-or-death situations. But no way were you going to let him risk his life. You loved this man more than anyone else, however, you haven't told him that four letter word yet.
You feared that you'd scare him away. You suspected he had very strong feelings for you, though. The way he looked at you and held you, he was just the most caring protective beautiful man you've ever met. But did he love you? You still were unsure. But you had hope he did, and decided to remain patient and by his side because you loved him. You were far too consumed by him at this point. You glanced up to his direction and locked eyes with his piercing blue ones. Yup, you were definitely a goner.
He was arguing with Sam about what kind of plan he had. Sam, didn't agree and tried reasoning with him. You decided to get closer to them to try and stop them from behaving like a couple of four year olds.
"I say we steal the shield and-"
"Enough with the stealing, Bucky."
"No, you don't get to call me that."
"Why not? Y/N calls you that." Sam looked at your way, with a pissed expression. You pressed your lips together. You were about to stop them from arguing when Bucky's voice stopped you.
"Because she's my girlfriend and I love her." He said loudly. Did he just? You were in shock by his words, so was Sam who was biting his lip in order to stop himself from smiling. He couldn't deny that it was kind of cute that the Winter Soldier who was once considered this mean old baddie, had found love at last.
You walked up to Bucky and pulled him down for a kiss. Your lips were now lost in a passionate kiss and you swore that you heard Sam say 'Alright, I don't wanna see that.' Making you smile in the process of being lost in the Winter Soldier's kiss. After a while, you pulled away and rested your forehead against his.
"I love you too." You whispered as you looked up into Bucky's eyes and caressed his stubbly cheek with your thumb. He grabbed your hand, turned his head and placed a gentle kiss upon your palm. Grinning before pulling you in for another kiss.
