"Are you sure baby? there's a lot of risks involved." Clarke says

"I can't keep living like this. I want to be able to run along with our daughter in the backyard or be able to sleep on my side again. To move around without pain throughout my entire body." Lexa says looking into blue eyes

Clarke's movements of her hand in Lexa's hair stops. She cups her face and rubs her cheeks with her thumbs. Green eyes search blue for a moment.

"Okay. I'll let Jackson know. He'll probably need you to come in for new scans and then he'll explain the procedure with you." She says

Lexa leans into Clarke's touch "Thank you." She says

"We'll figure it out together," Clarke says

Lexa captures her lips for a moment

"As much as I'd love to keep you on my lap all night, my leg is killing me," Lexa says reluctantly

Clarke immediately removes herself from her wife "Did you take the second dose already?" She asks concerned

Lexa nods "It's not helping."

"I'll talk to Jackson about a higher dose tomorrow baby. You can't have another dose for six hours... Let's go eat and get Madi to bed." Clarke says

They eat with Raven and Madi. It was a quiet dinner. Both girls were lost in their own thoughts. Lexa had a war going on in her head and Clarke was thinking of everything that could go wrong with the surgery. Raven stayed and helped Clarke finish cleaning up the kitchen. Lexa took Madi upstairs to assist her with her bath. Her daughter was very excited for momma to be helping her tonight with her bath. It put a smile on Clarke's face watching Madi practically drag her wife upstairs.

"Thank you for staying," Clarke says over her shoulder to Raven as she finishes washing the dishes

"Of course... but Clarke what did I walk in on upstairs? did she hurt you?" Raven asks quietly

"It's not like that Rae," Clarke says putting the clean dishes away

"Really because it looks like she hurt you and now you are wearing sweaters trying to cover it up," Raven says crossing her arms

"She didn't mean to," Clarke says shutting the cabinet

"That's what they all say, Clarke," Raven says

"It's not like she did it intentionally. She has PTSD. She wasn't lucid and I grabbed her out of the tub. Her reflexes kicked in. The moment she came to, she let me go. You didn't see her Rae. She was so scared.... scared of herself. She would never hurt me intentionally." Clarke says turning around to face her

"And what would have happened if she didn't come to in time? what happens when she has an episode with Madi?" Raven asks concerned

"She's doing the best she can. She's seeing a therapist. She wants to get better. What more do you want from her?" Clarke huffs

"It's just concerning. I don't mean it in a negative way. Don't get me wrong I love Lexa. But maybe she should stay with her sister until she gets this under control. Her sister, who can actually defend herself if something happens. No offense Clarke." Raven says

"This is her home. She's hanging on by a very thin thread. For better or for worse. That's what I vowed to her. She needs me." Clarke says

"Alright, I'll drop it. I should head out anyways and get some sleep. I'll see you at work." Raven says

Clarke nods and walks her out to her car

"I appreciate you staying to help Rae really. Thank you." She says
