What is the required word count for entries?

There's not a set requirement for the entries that we accept but we do ask that entries be more than 20K words minimum or the size of a novella.

Does the genre of my entry have to be listed as Romance on Wattpad?

No, it doesn't. It can be listed under any genre so long as Romance plays a big part in the story. It does not have to be the main part of the story but it must be apparent and clear that it is also a romance story.

Can I submit more than one entry?

Yes, you may submit more than one entry. All entries must be adherent to Wattpad's Content Guidelines and only one story can win a prize if it meets all our qualifications and scores high.

Does my entry need to be completed?

Yes, we are only accepting stories that are marked complete. If your entry is part of a series, it does not have to be the first of its series if readers can understand it without reading the ones before it. If our judges can't understand the entry because they need to read the stories that come before it in the series, it will not be judged and is disqualified.

Does my entry need to be New Adult?

No, it doesn't. We accept Young Adult and Adult stories for this Awards as well.

If the entry I want to submit is already participating in The Wattys or another contest/awards, can I still enter it into this awards?

Yes,  you can. We accept entries that are trying out for other awards and contests as well. We are not affiliated with TheWattys, Wattpad, or its Staff.

Do we need to write a story specifically for this awards or can we enter an existing work?

The Awards was created for existing completed works. If you would like to write a story for this Awards, you may, but it must fit all the qualifications we are looking for. Please refer to our Rules and Guidelines chapter for more information.

Where do I enter my story to?

Starting June 1st, you may enter the awards using the form we have provided on the official Awards Website. The link can be found at the start of our bio. Refer to the screenshot below for this.
