Chapter 2- Kory's Heartbreak

    My phone slowly slid out of my hand as I stared at the wall. The whole time he has been cheating on me. How didn't I know. How stupid can I be? I slowly rose from the floor and grabbed my lamp off the nightstand and threw it into the adjacent wall.

"FUCK!" I cried out as I threw anything I found at the walls.

I stopped as my tears poured down and eye blurred, I slumped down and pulled my knees into my chest as the tears kept flowing. How Could I be so stupid?

I cried and cried until there were no more tears left. Slowly getting up I made my way to the kitchen grabbing the Advil and a glass of water.

Ding dong

I swallowed a couple then dragged my feet to the door. Throwing the door up, I was greeted by my best friend Skylar. I know I'm cliché as fuck but I don't give a damn she is my ride or die.

"OMG, you look horrible sweetie what happened to you? Who do I have to kill? Say then word and I will be on my way." She Proclaimed

"You know it scares me to know you are serious, and Tyler dumped me over the phone in the middle of having sex with another guy. He has been cheating on me and even with Sam." I replied blinking back the tears that threatened my aching eyes.

She didn't say anything, I looked up at her to see her eyes darkened. She looked at me her eyes slightly lighten. She remained silent and I understand why. What can you say when you hear something like that? She pulled me into a hug and walked me back to my room.

"I will kill them!" She announced with venom dripping from her words as she looked around my now trashed room.

"It's fine Sky. I was stupid I should have noticed he was cheating." I said trying to convince myself.

She just looked at me silently then hugged me tight. She pulled back wiping some tears that escaped her eyes.

"It's not your fault and you are not stupid. He is. You are a great person. I love you Kory, but I got to go okay." She said softly then kissed my forehead and left my room.

Looking at the mess I sighed and got in to my bed, pulling the blanket over my head. Falling asleep I hoped when I wake up it was just a horrible nightmare.
