Louis’ POV

I had just got home from school, and I’d been thinking about Jasmine all day, despite being pestered by Romy and Rebecca every living second of the day. I could not wait for our date on Friday. That horrible Jake guy didn’t deserve her at all, after slapping her. She was too beautiful to be treated so horribly.

I’d been in my room for several hours, trying to record a cover of my favourite song, Look After You. I decided to take a break for a bit, so I went downstairs to pour myself some orange juice. Suddenly, I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I picked it up and looked to see it was some unknown number. “Hello?”

“Louis? Is that you? It’s Jasmine. Can I talk to you about something? Swear you won’t tell anybody.”

I was shocked when she finished telling me what had happened to her. I realised I had been crying too, because I could feel tear trails drying out on my hot cheeks.

“Jasmine, I want you to know, everything will be ok in the end,” was all I could muster, although it probably wasn’t very helpful.

“You think? I just really needed someone to talk to, and Ivy wasn’t picking up. Thanks Lou.” she sobbed down the phone.

“Listen, how about we move our date to tomorrow night? I think you need someone to talk to,” I said.

“Ok, sounds great. Hey, I just want to say, thank you Louis. You’ve really helped”. We stayed talking on the phone for an hour until Jasmine was eventually too tired to stay up, and went to bed.

I decided to go to bed as well, as it was getting quite late, and I was knackered after our long talk. A girl as amazing as Jasmine didn’t deserve the crap she got, I couldn’t believe what had happened to her. I was determined to make that girl happy, no matter how much it took. She deserved it. And with that thought in mind, I drifted off to sleep.
