Chapter 24

Jasmine’s POV

I was woken with a start by my mum’s loud voice in my ear. I felt cold, and soon I realized that I was still in the bath. The water had gone cold! I quickly jumped out, feeling embarrassed that I had slept in the bath! I checked my phone and I had a message from Louis:

Hey gorgeous,

You doing anything after school tomorrow? I’m missing you so much. Sleep well beautiful. 

Lou xxxx

He’s so sweet I thought as I texted him back:

Hey ;)

I’m not doing anything but Niall is coming over to finish that song. You could come too? Miss you too. Love you

I hit send and checked the time. It was 00.07!!! I had slept for a long time! I threw my cow onsie on and got in to bed, wondering what tomorrow would bring, especially with seeing Ivy at school. I couldn’t decided whether to talk to her about it or ignore her. I let that thought linger in my mind as I slowly drifted off to sleep.

I woke up and checked my clock. It read 5.24. I decided that I wasn’t going to sleep any more and got up. I threw on a hoody and some trackies and grabbed my skateboard. I crossed the road outside our house and started the walk to the skate park. I thought I would have some fun and rather than walking down the big hill, I would skate down it. I was in heaven, zooming down the hill, when I suddenly saw an old lady and a dog. I dived off the skateboard and it carried on rolling, narrowly missing the lady and the dog, although the dog got excited and starting chasing the skateboard, pulling the lady off her feet. She was being dragged along the pavement and her dog was going crazy! I felt bad, but at the same time I couldn’t stop myself from laughing! I could tell today was going to be a good day, even though I had Ivy to deal with.
