Perfect Two (Louis Tomlinson fanfic)

Chapter 27

Jas' POV

“It’s a yes from me, Louis” said Simon smiling. The sound of the crowd applauding was amazing. I got to my feet, clapping as hard as I could for my amazingly talented boyfriend. He had just got a yes from Simon Cowell! I couldn’t believe it!

I suddenly woke to see a pair of startlingly blue eyes gazing into mine. “Gorgeous, what happened?” Louis asked. “I just got home from school and my dad told me you were here. How did that happen?” he asked pointing to the big red mark on my face.

“I got into a fight with Ivy,” I mumbled sleepily. “I was just so angry with her I couldn’t hold it in. I tried going to the school nurse but Ivy got there first. I didn’t have anywhere to go, so I came here...” I trailed off as I started whimpering again.

“It’s ok Jas,” Louis comforted me. He pulled me into a hug and let me cry on his shoulder. He was just what I needed on a bad day. 

I suddenly remembered my dream. It was about Louis. He had auditioned for the X Factor, singing a song that I wrote. Oh my God, why hadn’t we thought of doing that before?! Louis should audition for the X Factor! And Niall should too! It would be a perfect way for him to leave memories of Ivy behind. I couldn’t help but think how much of a genius I was. I was desperate to blurt my idea to Louis, but I knew I had to wait until Niall was with us too. 

“You ok jas?” Louis asked looking puzzled. “You just suddenly went from really sad to really happy. Are you on your time of the m-”

“Louis!” I exclaimed. “No, I just had a brilliant idea, but I can’t tell you until Niall’s with us as well.”

“Well what is it?” he said, suddenly really curious.

“No, you’ll have to be patient. How about we all go swimming together on the weekend? I’ll tell you guys then.”

“Fine but it had better be good,” he winked at me. We stayed there in silence for a little while, before Louis said, “I really love you Jas.” My heart melted. Yes, I had all of this crap going on in my life, but at the end of the day, Louis was always there for me, and I was so lucky for that. 

“I really love you too Louis,” I smiled at him.

Finally! I had reached the end of a long week a school. Probably the longest week ever. I had settled for just completely ignoring Ivy. I didn’t want any more bruises. Lessons had been a little boring seeing as I had nobody to talk to for most of them, because I sat next to Ivy. I guess the one good thing that came out of the week was that I became a lot closer to Niall. Now there was no Ivy, it was just us two at school, and I liked it. He was a great guy and he definitely deserved someone better than Ivy. 

I packed my overnight stuff. Yes, I was going to Louis’ for a sleepover and then we were going swimming tomorrow with Niall. I was so excited! I hummed to myself happily as I packed all my things. Toothbrush, make up bag, clothes, swimming costume. This was the happiest I’d been in a long time.

Louis’ POV

I opened my door to find Jasmine’s beaming face looking back at me. “Wow, someone’s excited,” I joked, letting her in. 

“I’m just so happy I have you as a boyfriend and Niall as a friend. You guys are simply the best! Better than all the rest!” She sang as she started dancing weirdly around my house. I guess I was in a weird mood too because I randomly started joining in. 

“Well, that was fun,” I said as I collapsed on the sofa. Jasmine plonked herself on top of me. 

“Ahhh I like being on top of people,” Jas said in to my chest.

“Oh really?” I winked suggestively. 

“Oi I didn’t mean like that!” she said, hitting me playfully in the chest.

“Oh,” I said with a mock sad face. 

“Maybe some day,” she smiled at me.

Jas’ POV

I woke up and remembered last night. The movie, our conversation on the sofa, our amazing pillow fight, which somehow led to us sleeping in the same bed...

I quickly hopped in the shower to try and wake myself up a bit. I got dressed and headed downstairs to get breakfast. I figured I would leave Louis for a bit because he looked so peaceful. 

Today was going to be a good day. 

“Morning Mr Tomlinson!” I smiled cheerfully at Louis’ step dad. 

“Hey there Jas. Had a good night?” he winked cheekily.

“You’re just as dirty minded as your step son!” I responded, pretending to be really disgusted. Just then, I felt some arms wrap around my waist. I turned around to see Louis smiling down at me. 

“Hey, good lookin’!” I said. 

“Get a room!” Louis step dad teased.

“Hey Nialler!” I yelled as I ran towards him. We were meeting him just outside the swimming complex. 

“Woah, steady on!” Niall said as he stumbled back when I jumped on him. 

“Sorry, it’s just I’m excited for today! It’s going to be Tony the Tiger gggggrrrrrreat!” I pretty much shouted in his face.

“Ok let’s go in shall we?” he said.

“Ok, sorry I’ll calm down.”

“First to reach the other side wins!!!” yelled Louis, already diving in.

***SPLASH***

“That was more like a belly-flop!” I teased, diving in after him.

“GERONIMO!” Niall roared as he bombed into the water. 

“So Jas, you said you had a great idea you needed to share with us,” prompted Louis after finishing his victory dance.

“Well, I had a dream the other night that Louis had auditioned for the X Factor and got a yes from Simon. I thought you guys could go on, whether you do it together or separately,” I explained. Judging by the look on their faces, they liked the idea. 

“That’s a great idea!” they both squealed excitedly.

So that was it. Louis and Niall were going on the X Factor.
