Plot: Varian's past starts affecting some of the things he does in present time, which concerns his team, leading Varian into spitting out his past.

No one's P. O. V:

Varian had started acting weird since the last few missions. He had almost lost control of a robot that he built to move a boulder out of the way but almost ended up destroying everything in the way. He had also gotten a little carried away with the experiments when they were working with some rocks. Hugo had to stop him and can it a day with the rocks. This has highly concerned the team and it made them wonder if Varian was mentally and physically ok. So they decided that it was time for a bonding exercise, which Varian didn't seem to happy about. "Why do you guys want I'm busy", Varian said with an annoyed voice, " We're gonna have another bonding exercise ", Nuru said sternly. The minute he heard that, Varian quickly got up and tried to run to the door. It looked like he didn't want to have this type of bonding moment for some reason so he tried to run, but was unable to since Hugo grabbed him and sat him back down, " You aren't gonna get out of this one easily goggles, we're going to have this exercise weather you like it or not", Hugo said as he sat next to Varian, just in case he tried to run again (A) N: Sure 😏). Varian groaned, "Fine... What's this bonding moment about?. ", Varian asked as he rolled his eyes. "We want to know if anything is bothering you. You've been acting pretty odd lately, and not just that, we figured out that you act a bit off whenever we have to do an experiment on rocks, move something with a robot, etc.", Nuru stated. " Yeah, and that's not your usually self", Yong said. Varian bit his lip as he looked at the floor, " Goggles if you need to tell us anything you can, we'll always support you, trust us", Hugo said calmly, but that response made Varian a bit angry. "Oh yeah, I can definitely trust you even after you BETRAYED me!", Varian said sarcastically. " Varian that was over a year ago, we trust each other now", Yong replied. "Yeah sure, of course. You guys trust me, a person who almost destroyed a kingdom", Varian said. The team looked at each other in a bit of shock. Varian almost destroyed a kingdom? When? Why? How? " What do you mean..? ", Yong asked. " Oh you really wanna know, funny, because when I wanted to talk to you guys about this, but you kept pushing me away, just like how they did", Varian blurred out, "Go-", " NO SHUT UP! DON'T FEEL SORRY FOR SOMEONE LIKE ME OK! DON'T FEEL SORRY FOR SOMEONE WHO KIDNAPPED THE QUEEN OF CORONA, CAPTURED THEIR PRINCESS, AND ALMOST DESTROYED THEIR OWN VILLAGE! ", Varian yelled out as he grasped his hair tightly. " V-", "WHY YOU MAY ASK?! BECAUSE I WAS A 14 YEAR OLD DUMBASS AND TRAPPED MY DAD IN AN AMBER AND THE PRINCESS BROKE HER PROMISE TO ME AND DIDN'T HELP ME WHEN I NEEDED HER THE MOST..... AGHH! ", Varian groaned and yelled as he stormed out of the room, leaving the others in shock. For some reason, this hit Hugo close to home, " I-I'm gonna go find Varian ", Hugo said as he went to find him.

Hugo's P. O. V:

It didn't take long before I heard some sobs coming from another room. I opened the door, and say Varian sitting on the ground sobbing, " Hey.... Goggles.. ", I said calmly. " G-go away ", Varian said in between sobs, " No, I'm staying right here", I said as I sat next to Varian and put my hand on Varians' shoulder only to have it smacked. "I don't understand. Why don't you guys leave me alone? Why are you guys friends with me?! WHY DO YOU THINK I'M TRUST WORTHY?!?! ", he yelled as he put his head down. I looked at the ground and thought for a moment, " Because you're amazing, and you are you helped us", I replied, cursing at myself mentally. "How does that help?! ", Varian yelled, " Because you are the one who brought us together, and anyways, we would still forgive you", I said, trying to reassure him the best I could. "Why? ", he asked, " Because you guys forgave me, even after I betrayed you and that was just a year ago, and what you told us happened a long time ago. You changed Goggles, and that's all that matters. Honestly, what you were saying really hit close to home, because I had no one I could look up to and call mom or dad, and despite you having your dad still, you had to face many challenges to help him get free from there, so it's basically being all on your own, and I'm sorry you had to deal with that", I said as I kissed him on the forehead. Varian rubbed his eyes, " It's ok. I'm sorry for the outburst, around this time of year, my mind just brings back these memories, and I start to lose it a bit", he replied as he looked at the ground. "C'mon Goggles don't be sad, cheer up! ", I said as I tackled him and tickled him. Varian laid there laughing, and so did I, " HAHAHA, O-OK HAHA Y-YOU C-HAHA CAN S-STOP", Varian cried in between laughs. I had mercy in him and stopped tickling, but just leaned in and kissed him, "If there is anything bothering you, you can tell me, Nuru, or Yong ok? ", I said as I learned away from him. He nodded his head, " Ok... I love you", "I love you too".

A/N I AM SO SORRY FOR THE LONG ASS WAIT. SCHOOL WORK HAD BEEN KEEPING ME FROM FINISHING THE STORY, NOT MENTION THAT I GOT SICK, BUT TODAY, I FINALLY FINISHED IT. I'M SO SORRY FOR THIS TERRIBLE SHIT, but I hope you like it and until the next update, ٩(ര̀ᴗര́)ᵇʸᵉ take care!
