two years later...

Richard had told us that there had been trauma close by. By this time I had chosen General surgery and Derek had chosen neurosurgery. We hopped on an ambulance and we saw the scene so many dead bodies just lying there as well as paramedics doing heart compressions.

Derek's POV:

What ??? I thought ferry boats were reliable, they were my thing. I found a couple of guys crawling, and went to help them.

Meredith's POV:

I saw a blonde blob, I assumed it was a paramedic at first glance, but it turned out to be a small little girl doing sutures? I asked her who taught her to do the correct sutures for the right situation and the skills. She was quiet. I reassured her, and she said that it had been someone in a nursing home that had Alzheimer's and had won a fancy award twice. She told me to be careful with the victim since he was violent because of a neurological disorder. I paged Derek when the man pushed me into the water.

Delilah's POV:

I finished off suturing the victim since I was too scared to yell out for help just in case the people who adopted me would find me again. I then saw someone come up to me but then the victim threw me up and I fell on the sharp place where I fell to my death, at least I thought.

Derek's POV:

I was walking with Cristina since many victims had both neurological and cardiovascular problems together. I saw a blonde blob and I realized it was a little girl. I found it weird so I asked Cristina and she said that it looked a lot like Meredith. We approached the man but then the victim attacked the little girl as she fell to her death. Cristina climbed down to go save her, but then I saw a bubble. I told her to go help the girl while I saved whoever was drowning.

Merediths POV:

I fought. I realized that the little girl might have been trained by my mother. Two Harper Avery awards Alzheimer's, and even the fact that she was talking about how my mother loved peanut butter with m and m's and milky way in it. I wanted to know her, I think that she was my daughter! She was about the right age she had the same embroidered handkerchief that I made for her, and she looked like the mini version of me.

Derek's POV: I saw a bubble, but then it went blank. No Meredith no I thought to myself. I didn't even marry her yet. I started chest compressions and I hopped on the ambulance as we went to the hospital.
