Chapter 15

Kong's POV

I woke in the hospital bed and when I looked around I saw Em sitting and sleeping to my right side holding my hand. Wad was beside him and was also sleeping. Prae and Maprang were sleeping in the side beds. Oak was to my left side. I had a needle attached to my left hand. Tew was not there. I was about to move when Tew came into the room and saw me awake.

"Ai' Kong your awake." he almost shouted and I could see tears in his eyes. All of them woke up with that.. Prae, Maprag, and Tew came towards my bed and stood towards my left. I could not utter any word.. I felt my body numb... 
"Ai'Kong I am gonna kill you if you give us any such heart attacks ever again." Em said.. who was almost about to cry.

"Em.. shut up now.. Kong how are you feeling now.. The doctor will come in few minutes also P'Gun and P'Tay are gonna be here in few minutes." Prae said with a worried voice.
"I am okay guys.. just body pains.. I will be okay in no time.. Sorry for making you so worried." I assured them.
"Kong please never do this again.. I never felt so lost like this while I felt seeing you unconscious on the bed." Wad exclaimed as he hugged me lightly.

"Kong.. You know I had to maintain a dull and serious face  for a whole hour... which never happened when I am awake.. don't you dare do that again.. it was really hard for me to not crack a joke.." Oak said pouting and tried to lift up the mood.
"You know even I.. The great chatterbox ever kept silent for the whole time." Maprang added and that successfully made every one of us laugh.

The doctor just came and removed the needle. He asked me to take a lot of rest and gave me some painkillers. After that, he left. Em went to get the medicines.

After few minutes Em returned with angry P'Tay and upset P'Gun. Oh God.. I am so done now... I am pretty sure he will give me an earful now. All my friends moved to one side letting them sit beside me.

"Nong you got us hell scared.. what's with you doing all the laps... did not we agree for max about 20 laps." P'Gun asked with worry in his voice.
"P.. I am sorry but to get the exact results I had to do it.. you know how responsible a hazer should be... it is our duty to train them for the future and I did not want to let down any hazer by failing. So I took this step. I am sorry na P.. I won't make you worry like this again." I pleaded P'Gun giving my best puppy eyes which always worked. He sighed before speaking.

"Please Nong you know we all love you a lot right.. you know how worried our parents will be and especially your Godparents if they will come to know.. So please take care of yourself nong.." P'Gun told and kissed my forehead. { Note: The god-parents will be revealed with time not now... }

"P'Tayyyyyy please look at me.. I am sorry na.. I did not tell you anything.. I did not want to make you worried about me... you had a lot on your plate.. please forgive your simbha P..." I begged him. And I guess it worked. I saw him taking a deep breath.
"Simbha.. you know how special you are to people around you... you know I would help you with everything.. then why did you not at least tell me one thing.. Am I no one to you?" He sounded really upset.

"P..P.. Sorry I did not mean it that way... If I told you anything before I am sure you would have revealed our bond and also strangle those juniors.. but P.. did we not promise to learn to handle situations independently P, without using any authority or name. That is why I did not speak P. I am really sorry... I really wanted to tell you but stopped myself. I took pride in the way both of you fulfilled your responsibilities P.. even I wanted to be responsible.. I am sorry P... Please don't be upset." I said and looked down. I felt like crying because P'Tay was upset with me. After that, no one spoke anything and suddenly I felt P'Tay hug me. I hugged him back and cried a little on his shoulder.

"I am really proud of you Simbha.. I really am.. You have handled them in the best way one can... You really proved yourself to be strong and reliable but promise me that you will take care of yourself and always talk to me.... I promise that I won't act on impulse and respect your decisions... I won't do anything unless you ask me to... but please don't hide things from me like this.. I was dead scared and trust me I wanted to get those juniors suspended... all those juniors if Gun would not have explained to me everything including your ideas." He said.

He broke the hug looking into my eyes.." Your plan worked Simbha.. Every freshman of Engineering this year has understood about SOTUS... They have been posting apologies.. and have been thanking you all hazers for teaching them.. Even the parents are happy now and supportive to the system." All of us were shocked by the news... it really had a great effect... We were having happy tears and all of us had a group hug thankful for sticking together and completing the responsibility successfully. 

P'Tay and P'Gun dropped me and my friends at our dorms. P'Tay left to his apartment after a lot of assurance from me and P'Gun. They decided that P'Gun will be with me for the night and will leave for his work in the morning when my will come. After that, we slept.. 

When I woke up I saw Em and Oak sitting near the table and playing games. They noticed me awake and came to me.
"How are you feeling now kong...?" Oak asked.
"Other than body pains and tiredness I am all good. I am kind of hungry.." I told them.

"Okay Kong.. Oak will help you to freshen up and I will get you food. Oak, leave to campus after helping him.. I will join after giving him food.. Ai'Kong you have to stay alone for some time.. your favorite dean wants to meet us.. we took permission for you..  we will meet him and come over okay.." Em said. I just nodded and he went to get food. Oak helped me to freshen up.. After which I laid down on the bed with my legs on the pillow and asked Oak to leave so that he can help Tew and Wad since even I was not there. After a good 10minutes.. I heard a knock.

"Em you know that it is not locked.. why bother knocking.. just get in." I shouted.
"P... I am Arthit Khab..." he answered me as he was coming in.
"Aw.. Why are you here Nong?" I asked..
"P'Em got an emergency call and asked me to help him giving you the food P.. How are you feeling now P?" he asked with a concerned voice.
"I am better Nong and thanks for helping... " I assured him and thanked him.

"P let me plate the food for you. Before that take your medicines P." He did not let me speak. He just handed over a glass of water and then plated the food.. he then places a table on the bed and kept the plate on it along with a spoon as well as a fresh glass of water. I felt nice when he is taking care of me... My eyes did not leave him as he was doing work.. He sat down beside the bed on the chair and was looking at me intensively.. 

"Why are you staring at me?" I asked in a low voice as I was kind of feeling shy but did not want to show it.
"We are really sorry for everything P. Please forgive us.. we learned our lessons and also understood the importance of the values you wanted to teach us P.. we are really sorry na." He said with an apologetic face. It came by a sudden surprise when he spoke that. I just gave him a small smile before speaking.

"Nong I am really happy that you all understood the importance of the values. All I needed was that and we as seniors were ready to do anything to teach you that.. There is nothing to be sorry about.. Let the past be in past but always remember these values. They will really play a key role in the future." I said with a warm smile. He smiles back showing his dimples which I never noticed before. Then he became a busy body and was looking around my dorm.

"P.. you are really a neat freak P.. My dorm will never be this neat even in dreams." He exclaimed as he saw around. After some time he sat down and spoke about some random subjects and hobbies. He left when Em and others came.

Arthit's POV 

I am really feeling happy after spending time with P'Kongpob. I left for my dorm after his friends came. Today my gang was up for some confessions so I made my way towards my room where they were already gathered.
