I woke up in a beautiful room with golden pilars. The ceiling looked like the day sky, while the floor was the night sky. (Credit for the amazing room idea: DaniMarvel) i had never of my life seen something quite like this.
Only then i realised how i got there so I quickly got out of the bed i was in and went straight for the door. Locked. Ofcourse it was locked.
I got back to the bed and sat down. I couldn't help but look around the beautiful room. It was amazing how the floor changed. It looked so real. The stars, the moon,... .
The ceiling provided all the light necessary to lighten the room so there were no windows i could try to escape through.
I yawned. How is it that i just woke up and yet am already tired again. I was about to go back to sleep when i heard footsteps at the door. I jumped up and hid behind the bed.
A guard came in. He looked pretty young, about 17 years old. To be honest he was kinda cute even.
"Uhm, can i help you miss?" He asked politely.
Sh*t, how did he see me?
"No, i'm alright." I answered hastily. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to bring you your dinner miss." He said while showing the plate of food he was holding.
I felt really stupid for asking. Why didn't i see that he was holding a plate? Am i blind or something?
"Can i help you miss?"
I noticed i had been staring at him the whole time. I looked down immediately and started twisting my fingers.
"No, i'm okay."
We both stood there for a while, in an awkward silence.
"Why are you still standing there?" I asked trying not to sound to mean.
"I'm waiting for you to dismiss me ma'am."
"Oh sorry, i didn't know. You're dismissed." I said hastily, trying to avoid the awkward situation.
The boy turned around and went to the door, but i stopped him once more.
"I still have one question, well maybe a few... Why are you bringing me food? And why am i here?" I asked very interested in his answer.
"I'm afraid i'm not allowed to answer your questions miss, but the king will answer them when you join him at dinner tomorrow evening miss. There is a dress in the closet. His highness wants you to wear it."
Before i could say anything, he was gone and had locked the door again.
Did he just tell me that Loki is inviting me for dinner tomorrow?! I ran to the closet to see what Loki had given me to wear. I opened the closet and found 3 dresses. They were so stunning!
