Chapter 5

It was economics lecture and the lecturer Mr. Nair was busy talking about macro-economics. Mr. Nair was a very strict professor and gave utmost importance to discipline. He saw Shehnaaz dozing in class.

Mr. Nair: Shehnaaz! Shehnaaz! Angelina can you wake her up?

Angel shook Shehnaaz and she opened her eyes to find everyone staring at her.

Mr. Nair: Please go home and complete your beauty sleep.

Shehnaaz: Sir..

Mr. Nair: ..and no need to come back to my class for the whole term. You can continue your sleep for every lecture of mine.

She looked at Sidharth who smirked at her. She was raged, she took her bag and walked out in anger. She went back home. The maid observed her angry mode and immediately informed the head Butler who then informed JD's Manager and from there it went on to JD's attention.

JD called up the college and inquired. It was a 2 hour long lecture hence Mr. Nair was still teaching in the same class.

Peon: Sir, the principal has called you immediately.

Mr. Nair: There is still 15 minutes left. I will come in 15 minutes.

Peon: ..but he said it's urgent.

Mr. Nair: Can't you understand, I need to finish this lecture, I took other lecturer's period as well to finish this topic today. You are wasting my time.

Peon: ..but..

Mr. Nair: Leave I say!

The peon goes and Nair continues the lecture. In 5 minutes the peon returns with the principal himself.

Principal: Mr. Nair, since you didn't come, I had come myself. Here is your termination letter and the peon has already packed your stuff. You may check if anything is left out and leave immediately.

Everyone in the class looked in shock.

Asim: (soft voice) Had to happen, he threw out the owner's daughter for the whole term. If she can't enter his class, then she can replace him to attend the class. That's the power she holds! Savage!!

Sidharth looked at Asim listening to what he just spoke.

Sidharth: Is that the reason? It's injustice. How can she do that? Aren't there any norms or rules before firing someone from job? It needs proper reason.

Asim: Huh? Reasons! You don't need reason when you can create one.

Sidharth was feeling bad for Nair because indirectly he was the reason for it. He had given her a challenge to solve a problem which was faulty and she stood up whole night to solve it, hence she slept in the class and this followed.

After college, Sidharth calls her.

Shehnaaz: Speak!

Sidharth: I want to meet you!

Shehnaaz: I don't want to. I'll call you whenever I want to take tuition.

Sidharth: It's not about the tuition. It's about something else.

Shehnaaz: What other work do you have with me? Anything related to your stay in quarters then speak to my servant.

Sidharth: Please Shehnaaz, I want to speak to you about Nair Sir.

Shehnaaz: Oh! So you want to insult me now for the morning incident? Your smirk spoke it all.

Sidharth: No, I am not. Please!!

Shehnaaz: Fine! You can come and see me in the Mansion.

Sidharth straight away goes to meet her to the mansion.
