ANNOUNCEMENT!

It's been a while, isn't it?

You guys have probably noticed that I haven't updated in nearly a year. It's not like I didn't want to write for this fandom anymore---with all my heart, I very much still do---I just needed a quick break to breathe at first bc everything just suddenly got too demanding. Plus, I had so much school work to deal with.

By the time I decided to get back into writing, I somehow couldn't access my account anymore! For some reason, I've been entering the wrong password (a password I've been using for this acc since like 2017). I tried to troubleshoot it, but unfortunately, I couldn't access the email I used for this as well (I use a diff email for my writing). It seemed like the password was changed as well. Hnnng.

So, to sum it up, I might have been hacked or whatever. Or it was just probably my fault----let's just say it was my fault because ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The incident really dragged down my spirits and I just got annoyed and frustrated along with being sad. So, I opted to take a break from NY fics, ᵏᵃˢⁱ ⁿᵍᵃ ᵐᵉᵈʸᵒ ⁿᵃᵍᵗᵃᵐᵖᵒ ᵃⁿᵍ ˡᵒˡᵃ ⁿⁱʸᵒ ˡᵒˡ ᵇᵘᵗ ʰⁿⁿⁿᵍ, and focused on other writings instead.

Now that I've got my writing juices back for NY, I've decided to get back in the game. I recently found out that this account fortunately never got logged out from my iPad (my phone had been updating at the time of the incident so I got logged out from there). So I'm happy get to use this acc to tell you one last message.

I decided not to continue using this account anymore. There's no way to reset the password since it can only be done using the email that I have no longer access to.

With that being said, I've decided to shut this account for good while I still have access to it (and tbh idk for how long bc I keep getting pop-up messages to like update email so hnng I might get kicked out soon). Meaning, I will be removing all my works from here. 

I going to leave this account barren. So if I'm lucky enough, I get to back up all my stories before Watty kicks me out.

I know, this is sad. I've got new friends thru this acc and hnnng my stories were doing so well, but what can we do? Oh well. I don't want to leave something I treasure in the hands of the unknown.

If I'm successful, I might post them again on another platform (Tumblr or AO3), but that depends. I might just store them away and give a few people access to them.

Regarding this story, Racing in the Rain, I may or may not continue it. Once I've settled in another platform, I might post the previous chaps and continue from where I left off, or I just might start fresh with a new story.

I know this is sad news for you guys, it's also sad for me. But I have to do some damage control and move on.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have loved and supported this story, and all of my stories for that matter. I find comfort and happiness that I've provided you guys a sanctuary to get away from the harsh nuances of reality. Knowing that I've made you happy makes my smile stay a little longer.

I hope to get your unending support and love when I rise again on another platform. I hope you give me the same love there as you did here.
