While Cedric and I sat at our table eating I noticed a girl looking at him. I wasn't in the same year as her but I knew her name was Cho. She kept giggling to her friends and staring at Cedric. My blood started boiling and my face turned red. "Hey you okay? You seem upset." Cedric said putting his warm hand on my cheek. I nodded and looked back down at my food. I wasn't hungry. I sat there for another ten minutes until finally dinner was over.
I sped out of the great hall and to the Hufflepuff common room. I plopped myself down on the couch and began crying. Cedric came running in panting and sat down next to me. He noticed I was crying and began to look sad. "Oh Y/N are you okay? what happened?" He said sorrowfully. "It's Cho." I said. He looked confused and began thinking about the possibilities of what I meant. "She likes you Ced. I noticed her and her friends staring at you during dinner and I had heard she liked you but didn't believe it until tonight." I said with tears rolling down my red face. "So what if she likes me? I still don't get the big deal." He said confused. I began to laugh "Of course you don't. Boys never notice when there's that perfect girl right in front of them that is head over heels in love with them." I said loudly. Everyone in the common room stopped talking and looked over at us. Cedric turned red. "Can we take this somewhere else Y/N?" he whispered to me. I nodded and took his hand and walked out of the common room.

We kept walking until we came to the black lake. I sat down on a rock and Cedric stood behind me and hugged me tightly. "You're in love with me?" He said quietly. I felt my face turn red and butterflies erupt in my stomach. "I've always loved you." I said tearing up again. "I know I shouldn't have waited until it was your last year at Hogwarts but I didn't know how to tell you." I spoke. He sat down next to me and pulled me into him. "I love you, Y/N." he whispered in my ear. My heart jumped out of my chest and started racing. "I love you too, Ced." We sat there for a while just looking at the stars over the lake and snuggling up to each other's warmth.
When we had both become very tired we headed back to the school and up to our common room. Once we were sitting in front of the fire I looked over at him. "What is it Y/N?" He asked. "I'm just tired." I said yawning. "You should go to bed, it's pretty late." He said rubbing my back. "Okay i'll see you tomorrow." I said getting up and walking towards my dorm. "Y/N wait!" I heard Cedric say and turned around to face him. He got very close and put his hands on my lower back. We were centimeters away from each other and I moved in closing the gap between our lips. I grabbed the back of his neck pulling myself up. I couldn't pull myself up any further so Cedric picked me up. Wrapping my legs around his waist I started kissing him more passionately. We separated our lips and stared at each other. He set me down and looked deeply in my eyes tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. "Goodnight Cedric." I whispered. "Goodnight Y/N." He whispered back. I pecked him on the cheek and ran up to my dorm room. As I turned from the door towards my bed I noticed all the girls staring at me in aw. "What?" I laughed. "Don't hide it we saw everything." Hannah Abbott said giggling. I sat down on my bed and told them what had happened. After we had gossiped about the situation, we settled down to sleep.

The next morning I woke up and replayed last night scenario over and over. I didn't have any classes today so I stayed in bed for a while. I was the only one in my dorm which was nice cause there was not noise or movement in the room. I tried going back to sleep but heard the dorm door open. Great, someone's back. I looked over to see who it was and saw Cedric quietly walking in. I pulled the covers over my head and began to panic. I just woke up! I look like I came back from the dead! Then I realized that if he loved me, he wouldn't care what I looked like. I pulled the overs off of my head and smiled when I saw him. He walked over and flopped down next to me. "Good morning." I said giggling. "Good morning." He said in that cute morning voice of his. I turned over so I was facing him and smiled. "You're gorgeous I hope you know." He said smiling back. Butterflies exploded and my cheeks turned pink. I snuggled my head into his chest and rested my head over his heart, hearing a very quick heart beat. We lay cuddling each other for a little bit before I decided to get up and get ready for the day. I showered and got dressed before going to sit with Cedric on my bed. "What do you want to do today?" I asked him. "Why don't me go to Hogsmeade?" He suggested. I loved this idea. I hadn't been to Hogsmeade in a whole year. We got up and slipped on our jackets walking out the door. Stepping outside the cold air rushed over me causing me to shiver. Cedric noticed and wrapped an arm around me. When we arrived at Hogsmeade we made our way to honeydukes. We sat down at a table and ordered butterbeers. "Hi, Cedric." I heard a high pitched voice say, and turned around to see her. Cho fucking Chang.  My face turned red and I stood up and walked right up to her and looked her in the eyes. I could see the fear as I looked in those terrified eyes. "Leave him alone. He doesn't want you. Understand?" I said in a very low intimidating voice. "You don't own him Y/N. He can do whatever he wants." She said with sass. I couldn't hold it back and I bitch slapped her. She gasped and stumbled backwards as she ran out of the door. I could feel Cedric standing behind me and I slowly turned around to face him. I was so nervous for what he would say. "Wow, well done. Didn't think you had that in you." He said surprised. I exhaled at those words and laughed. We sat down at our table and enjoyed our butterbeers in peace.
