We traveled all night switching turns to drive, I was the last one driving. Everything going through my mind at once, how was I going to take care of this baby? Will he find us and hurt them for helping? We just passed Virginia line, now we were two states over.
" Kay I think we should pull into a hotel" I nodded looking at the sky, I saw the sun barely come up and the most beautiful sunset in the world. I saw a little hotel just a few blocks away, I finally pulled up and parked. I took a deep breath and we all got out, we walked inside to see a plump old man. I gave him a weak smile but Josh talk.
" I uh need a room with two beds please"
He started typing then looked at us.
"I only have one room that has one bed and a sofa will that be ok?" Josh nodded and the guy gave us a key. We went to are room and sat.
" do you guys think this will be ok?" I shook my head this wasn't far enough for me.
" I want at least go two more state over"maddy eyes wided but she didn't say anything. She knew that was the only way I would feel for this baby. I would hope this baby had a life that I never got, I know it won't have a father but one day it Wil under stand why.... I just wish my family was here for her.
The next couple of days we drove and drove all the the to upstate New York. We quickly found a house big enough for our family. We had to put it under fake names and change ares for safety cause heaven knows he searching right now.
