~ Kay~

I listen as I hear tiny laughter upstairs and how much she was having fun. It broke my heart even more, I didn't yell or anything I know it was no use. I hear footsteps come down the hall then the door open revealing Jay.

" come on Kay Sara misses you" his tone was cold and harsh I shivered at it. I got up slowly and walked behind him as we went up stairs. I grabbed some clothes and ran into the bathroom. I sigh and locked the door, I knew I had to get out of here and keep Sara safe no matter what even if I get hurt on the way she will be safe. I sigh as the cold hit my body, I watch as all the dirt wash off. I still couldn't believe he found us, why couldn't he leave us alone? I know I have to keep her safe... after the shower I dried my self and got dress in a black tang top and red shorts. I dried my hair as best as I could but I kept it down. I looked at my jaw and saw the bruised of his hand on me. I sigh I couldn't let Sara see this, I grabbed my makeup bag and hurried to put bass on to cover it up. I came out of the bathroom to see Jay sitting at the edge of the bed staring at Sara room.

"Come here Kay" I listen and walked over to him standing in front. He pulled me closer, till I was in between his legs. I arch my back so I could look at him more, I studied him his hair was brown now, he took out his lip  pierced. He didn't look like his self, it was different.

"Kay I'm so sorry that I hurt you, I know I have to control my anger more, I know I will loose you and Sara." He looked me in the eye and I saw his eyes turned a light green,

" I want us to start over but as a family, I worked so hard on getting you guys here and actaully being free, I'm not wanted anymore I fixed it." He smiled a little bit but it was one of those sad smiles, it kinda broke my heart.

" Please Kay please try for me I promise I will never hit you, I love you so much I just want Sara to have a family that we never had" I flinch at his words, I had a family that loved each other to death. Until he took it away, that's the one thing I will never forgive him.. he looked at me with hope in his eyes, I don't know what to do what to say..

"Jay I I don't know, I just need time to think.... I can't have Sara scared that her parents fight and her mom disappear for the whole day" he pulled me closer.

"Kay that will never happen again I promise I will never lay a hand on you again please just give me another shot not just for me but for Sara she needs a father please" I looked in his eyes searching for something anything. I took a deep breath I knew that I shouldn't do this but I have to for Sara to keep here safe.

" ok but if you lay one hand on me or Sara we get to leave with no question ask, ok and I want to talk to maddy" his eyes harden and his grip got tight and I flinch.

" why do you want to talk to her?"

" t to tell her I'm f fine, she probably called the police, I won't tell her were I am I p promise"he loosen his grip and stood up, he was taller then me maybe a few inches but enough for me crane my neck to see him.

" fine but you have to talk to her in front of me so I know you won't say anything and you only get five minutes" I nodded as he handed me the phone I quickly dialed her phone it rang three times then a sniffle came on the phone.

" h hello" I almost cried out but I held it in.

"Maddy it Kay" god i wanted to tell her but i was thinking about sara.

"Kay oh my god are you ok?!"I looked at Jay and he stared right back at me.

" yeah I'm ok Sara is too, listen don't worry about us we just went on a little trip" she whispered to some one then answer me.

" Kay I know he has you please just come home" Jay must of heard that because he stiffen and step towards me.

" I gotta go love you maddy" I hung up when she yelled my name. Jay smiled and grabbed the phone
